Chapter 2 - Awakening Part 2

Leo got into his bed after dinner and closed his eyes to sleep. As he slept, had a strange dream. The strange thing was, the dream felt too real to be a dream. A vision perhaps, but whatever it was Leo knew it was not a dream.

In that dream he saw a woman, who's beauty could be compared to a goddess, standing in front of him. The woman has silver white hair, golden eyes, skin as smooth as silk and wore a long white dress. She simply stunning.

Leo then looked around his surroundings. He saw that they were in a seemingly endless field of flowers. The field stretched on as far as teg eye could see. The flowers were of different colours of different shades and types.

He turned his head back to the mysterious woman,"Who are you?"

"Smart question." She praised him for asking the right question.

"My name's Celestia. Someone you'll meet again later on." She answered his question.

Leo nodded and asked another question,"I'm I dreaming because this feels too real to be a dream?"

"You're quite the smart kid and your senses are pretty good even without mana," she praised him for noticing.

"But yes this is not a dream, but don't be scared. I mere took our soul from your body." She said casually.

Shocked Leo shouts," How can you be so casual about something like this?! You literally took my soul from my body?!"

He grabbed his head worried," I'm I dead-no it can't be I haven't even become a mage yet."

His eyes began to swell up with tears as he was about to cry. If he was dead, that meant: he could not become a mage, he would leave his parents behind and he would die single and without ever dating.

Celestia then hugged him like a mother comforting a child. She stroked his black hair to sooth him until he stopped crying.

"Easy, you're not dead yet little one. In fact, after all this you'll wake up in your room as if nothing had happened." Celestia assured him.

He looked up to her face,"Really?" Sniff." You mean it?" He asked.

They separated as now Leo was calm. Leo rubbed away the remaining tears from his eyes and smiled. *'I can still be a mage'* he thought.

"I also have something to tell you," Celestia told Leo.

"What is it?" Leo asked his curiosity piqued.

"Your awakening will be different from everyone else's." She said with a bit a seriousness in her tone.

"How?"

"It is because you are special and you will have a game-like status window with extra features which will help you become stronger faster and grow you so you can be ready." She explained.

"Be ready for what?" Leo asked as she did not explain.

"If I tell you it wouldn't be fun." Celestia said with a smile.

"Even if I offer you something?" He tried bribery.

"Nope." She shook her head.

"Fine, but why I'm I only getting this special awakening?" He asked.

"You shall know in future, but there are also other system holders as well." She said.

"Will I meet them too?" Leo asked hoping for an answer to at least this question.

"Yes, you will." Celestia answered finally.

Then Leo's soul glitched for a second. "If you look at that, seems like our time's up," Celestia said.

"But wait I have more-" he got cut off by Celestia.

"Until we meet again, Leo." Celestia said.

Leo then woke up in his bedroom. He looked around his room and saw it was wrecked. He was surprised that his awakening had caused such a powerful explosion.

Arthur and Alice barge into his room, their mana flaring ready to take down any enemy. They look around the room-at least what's left of it-and see no one except from Leo who was grinning in excitement.

They turned their gaze from the destroyed room to Leo. They scanned his body to make sure he was okay. After confirming he was fine, they sighed in relief.

"I suppose you've awakened," Alice said.

"How'd you know?" Leo asked.

"Your expression gave it away," Arthur answered.

"And we can sense the mana in you," Alice continued.

They turned to leave,"Get ready for breakfast."

Once they left, Leo looked back to the game like status window in front of him. It gave off a faint dark blue glow, though only he could see it. On it, were his stats all displayed. And he had to admit he was quite weak.
