Kurozumi Orochi swallowed nervously as his eyes swept across the room.
Everyone familiar was present except for one person.
"Governor, this was sent by Renji."
Jack stared at the box, his rage already nearing the breaking point.
Compared to the people of Wano, the Beasts Pirates knew exactly what was inside.
Jack held great respect for the senior members of the Beasts Pirates.
And now Queen was dead.
Not only that his head had been severed and delivered directly to the Beasts Pirates by Renji.
Such humiliation no one could possibly accept it.
"Bang!"
Jack slammed his fist into the table before him.
The wine-red lacquer shattered instantly, and the wood beneath cracked apart as well.
The wooden box tumbled to the ground.
And inside Queen's lifeless head rolled out, his eyes still wide open in death.
"So it really is Queen…"
Orochi's pupils contracted violently.
The moment the words left his mouth, he quickly lowered his voice.
He even took several steps backward.
This was absolutely not something he could casually involve himself in.
Compared to Orochi's cautious behavior the Beasts Pirates were consumed entirely by fury.
"Wildfire" King and "Drought" Jack looked like they could barely suppress the killing intent radiating from their bodies.
The Flying Six were in much the same state.
"What do all of you think about this matter?"
Compared to the others in the crew, Kaido was surprisingly calm.
There was no visible anger on his face.
Perhaps because he hadn't been drinking there was even a trace of sharp wisdom in his expression.
"Revenge!"
The first to speak was naturally Jack.
In his mind, there was only one answer.
The Beasts Pirates respected strength above all else.
But that didn't mean there was no camaraderie between them.
To Jack both King and Queen were like older brothers.
They were the people who had guided him.
And now Queen had died right in front of them.
His head had even been sent back as humiliation.
If Jack could tolerate something like that then he wouldn't be Jack.
"Revenge is inevitable."
Kaido nodded.
His eyes shifted toward Jack.
Originally Kaido had been pleased by the signs of maturity Jack showed earlier.
But now, it seemed that still wasn't enough.
Just as he had begun to show some growth, he reverted back to his violent nature the moment something happened.
It seemed that Kaido's dream of raising a successor like Whitebeard had completely fallen apart.
"Still, our opponent is Whitebeard. We need to think carefully about how to take revenge."
As he spoke, Kaido shifted his gaze away from Jack.
"What about the rest of you?"
"I think the same."
King spoke up at that moment.
He was stronger than Jack but not by too much.
At most, he was simply capable of suppressing his anger.
Within the Beasts Pirates, there were only a handful of people he could truly speak openly with.
Queen was one of them.
Although the Three Calamities were technically rivals just like how Jack considered King and Queen his comrades, King also cared about the members of the crew.
And now Queen had died just like that.
How could he possibly accept it?
"The Whitebeard Pirates are currently extremely weakened."
"The reason they killed Queen so decisively was obviously to use force to pressure us into backing down quickly."
"And that only proves how weak the Whitebeard Pirates really are right now."
"My suggestion is simple."
"Mobilize the entire crew."
"And launch a full-scale war against the Whitebeard Pirates!"
King's words stunned everyone present.
They all stared at him in disbelief, as though they never expected such a proposal to come from King himself.
King held an incredibly high position within the Beasts Pirates.
Calling him the vice-captain of the crew would not have been an exaggeration.
Aside from the other two Calamities even the Flying Six had to obey his commands.
And that authority came not only from his strength but also from his exceptionally calm and rational mind.
"Since King says that, then I also support an all-out war."
At that moment, another person spoke.
Everyone turned toward the source of the voice.
It was Drake the most recent member to join the Flying Six.
"King already explained it clearly. I agree completely."
"The Whitebeard Pirates are at their weakest right now, and our territory directly borders theirs."
"If we wait until the Whitebeard Pirates recover, then with the reputation they gained during the Summit War, they'll definitely attract a huge number of new forces."
"And when that happens…"
"Won't we be the ones suffering instead?"
Drake's eyes swept past everyone before landing directly on Kaido.
"Even without Queen's death, I was already planning to propose a full-scale war against the Whitebeard Pirates."
"I also think we should go to war with the Whitebeard Pirates!"
Black Maria spoke up as well.
Her face was filled with fury.
"I didn't think that far ahead."
"But someone already came right to our doorstep and humiliated us."
"If we just pretend nothing happened like a bunch of idiots…"
"Then how is the rest of the New World supposed to see us?"
"I also support a full-scale war!"
Sasaki spoke up as well.
Very quickly under King and Jack's lead, the calls for total war became the dominant opinion in the room.
Their anger came from Queen's death.
And also from the humiliation forced upon them.
The other two All-Stars, the Flying Six, the numbers almost everyone within the Beasts Pirates supported an all-out war against the Whitebeard Pirates.
"Full-scale war! We have to show that old bastard Whitebeard what we're capable of!"
"They only escaped the Marines' siege! It's not like they actually won! What are they acting so arrogant for?!"
For a time the entire room was filled with condemnation toward the Whitebeard Pirates.
"This time…"
"Whitebeard truly went too far."
"I've decided."
"We're going to war with Whitebeard."
After waiting for the noise to settle down slightly Kaido finally spoke again.
Unlike everyone else's rage even now, after officially announcing a full-scale war against Whitebeard, his expression remained unusually calm.
Although he spoke lightly, Kaido understood very well that this matter was not that simple.
It wasn't that he wasn't angry.
He had simply been enduring it the entire time.
First Jack had been captured alive.
Now Queen had been killed.
Both incidents were humiliations that would make him the laughingstock of the entire world.
But he also understood even a weakened Whitebeard Pirates crew was not easy to deal with.
If he wanted Whitebeard to pay for this recklessness then he needed to stay calm.
As the commander, he could not lose control.
His gaze swept across everyone present.
Then Kaido spoke once more:
"Now, all of you return and gather your forces."
"That includes every subordinate crew, island, and nation under my control."
"Mobilize all elite fighters."
"This time…"
"I'm going to make Whitebeard pay the full price."
