The moment they left the hidden vampire territory, CeCe finally released the breath she had been holding since earlier.
"My gosh…" she muttered weakly while holding her chest. "These people are actually insane."
Soraya walked ahead calmly without answering her.
The night breeze moved quietly through the dark forest, while moonlight reflected on the trees around them. Compared to the terrifying atmosphere inside the vampire mansion earlier, this place almost felt peaceful.
CeCe however kept replaying the earlier scene inside her head.... Especially that screaming. The way Soraya did everything without even changing expression.
She finally turned toward the witch walking beside her and looked at her helplessly. "That was cool."
Soraya raised a brow.
CeCe immediately nodded seriously. "No, seriously. Extremely cool. Terrifying too… but mostly cool."
Soraya snorted softly. "You have strange priorities."
