The huge stone kitchen had turned into chaos before CeCe even finished preparing the meat.
At first, the maids only stood far away from her with suspicious expressions, watching her rub crushed peppers, onions, and strange green leaves all over the thick slices of beast meat as she had finally gone insane. But the moment the meat touched the burning iron rack above the fire, everything changed. The sound alone nearly drove them mad.

Oil from the meat dripped into the fire, and flames danced wildly. The rich aroma exploded into the air so aggressively that one of the younger maids almost dropped the wooden bowl in her hand.
"What… what is that smell?"
