"So many people showed up all at once… I suppose Erza and the others have run into the same situation," Ultear said, glancing at the black-robed figures emerging from all directions.
"That works out nicely. We can deal with the one behind all this in one go," Yalian replied calmly, his hand resting on the hilt of his blade.
"Oh ho ho ho, Your Highness Yalian, Lady Ultear, please don't misunderstand—we mean no harm. We simply wish to have a talk," Agor said, putting on an extremely respectful expression and tone.
"And yet, reality seems a bit different from what you're saying… this unnamed gentleman," Ultear replied with a faint smile, her gaze sweeping across the surrounding figures before settling on Agor and the three behind him.
"My apologies for the offense. Allow me to introduce myself—my name is Agor. I've long heard of Your Highness and Lady Ultear's reputations. And… well, I'm rather timid, so I brought a few extra people for safety," Agor said politely, spinning lies without hesitation.
Ultear looked at him like he was an idiot. Agor didn't seem bothered in the slightest, still smiling. Ultear's expression softened slightly as she made a mental note—
Deeply calculating.
"The one watching us in the Moon Temple earlier… that was you, wasn't it?" Yalian asked indifferently.
"As expected of Your Highness—your perception is truly sharp. I thought I hid it well," Agor replied with a stiff smile, clearly surprised.
He was highly confident in his surveillance skills—he had never been discovered before, not even by White Night. Yet this time, Yalian had noticed.
"Enough nonsense. What do you want to talk about?" Yalian cut him off coldly.
"Oh ho ho, straight to the point, I see. We hope that you will lead the Fairy Tail members and leave Galuna Island," Agor said, finally getting to the point.
"Reason?" Yalian replied with a single word.
"Heh… that, I cannot disclose. But if you leave, not only will you avoid unnecessary conflict, you'll also gain Lord White Night's friendship. A win-win situation, wouldn't you say? Oh ho ho ho…"
Yalian and Ultear both fell silent.
Then—
"Are you an idiot," Yalian said flatly, "or is that so-called Lord White Night the idiot?"
Ultear nearly facepalmed. She had just judged him as "deeply calculating." That was embarrassing.
"You dare insult Lord White Night—die!"
One of the men behind Agor suddenly raised his hand, firing a jet of water toward Yalian.
"Stop!" Agor's expression changed, reaching out—but he was too late.
"How dare you attack Lord Yalian?" Ultear's expression turned icy, killing intent flooding her voice.
She waved her hand lightly—
The incoming water arrow turned into mist and dissipated midair.
That single move stunned everyone present.
"Just a misunderstanding—Rain Seer didn't mean it!" Agor hurriedly tried to smooth things over.
"Hmph. Future Flash."
Ultear snorted coldly.
In an instant, countless crystal spheres surrounded the attacker, unleashing a barrage of high-speed strikes.
"When did—?!"
"AAAHHH!!"
"Rain Seer!"
No one—aside from Yalian—had seen when she set it up.
Moments later, the crystals vanished.
Rain Seer collapsed to one knee, his mask shattered, clothes torn, completely battered.
"Enough of this farce," Yalian said calmly, his gaze sweeping over them like they were livestock awaiting slaughter. "Tell me your plan, and I might let you leave."
"So… you refuse our proposal," Agor said.
Yalian almost laughed.
Did they really think he'd been negotiating in good faith this whole time?
"Proposal?" Yalian's voice turned cold. "What gave you the illusion I'd accept such a ridiculous reason?"
He paused, then spoke each word clearly—
"State your purpose. Surrender. Or be buried here."
Boom—
A terrifying surge of magic erupted from him.
His silver-white hair and cloak billowed upward, the very air freezing under the pressure. The sheer weight of his magic bore down on everyone except Ultear like a mountain.
In that instant, every expression changed.
Fear.
Shock.
To them, Yalian looked less like a man—and more like a monster.
Even Agor trembled.
This… is stronger than Lord White Night…
"I'll give you one more chance," Yalian said, resting his hand on Alaya Consciousness (Arayashiki), his gaze icy.
Agor gritted his teeth.
"For Lord White Night—we'll fight!"
"I'll hold off Yalian with Thunder Seer," he declared. "Rain Seer and Ice Seer—take Ultear down quickly. Then we focus everything on Yalian."
"Today is the final day of absorbing the Moon's power. We cannot let them interfere—even if it costs our lives!"
"As members of Lord White Night's guard, we'll give everything to see his plan through!" Rain Seer added firmly.
"Commendable resolve," Yalian said with a faint smile. "Ultear—don't hold back. If they insist on dying, then kill them."
"Understood, Lord Yalian."
Ultear nodded, her expression turning cold.
Fairy Tail's creed was to avoid killing when possible—
But if someone insisted on seeking death, that was another matter.
"Your Highness Yalian, allow me to introduce—this is Thunder Seer, one of the Four Gods," Agor said, still maintaining his polite demeanor.
"This time, the two of us will have the honor of testing the strength of the Trembling Noble."
"Interesting," Yalian replied with a slight smile, slowly drawing Arayashiki.
Elsewhere—
Rain Seer and Ice Seer stepped forward.
"Rain Seer, one of the Four Gods."
"Ice Seer, one of the Four Gods."
"Let us face you—the Witch of Time."
Ultear's eyes sharpened, battle intent rising beneath her calm exterior.
"Come, then."
