Milize knock on the door from inside a voice came "Come in"
Milize enters the room, nihil standing nervously waiting of her, she bowed and looks nihil from bottom to top, he was wearing simple white clothes his hairs was messy and long, Milize stares for a moment, then said in a calm and respectful tone "Your highness, please come with me"
Nihil said "yes"
They both leave the room and nihil starts following Milize as they are walking through the corridor, nihil was astonishingly amazed to see the beautiful artwork at the ceiling, the exquisite painting.
Milize ask walking "Do you like it, my lord"
Nihil reply in amazement "Yes, this is one of the most beautiful thing I've ever seen"
Milize replied softly "Glad to hear that you like it"
Then, Nihil asked "Where are we going?"
Milize reply "To get you clothes and a weapon, my lord"
Nihil asked nervously, "Weapon?"
Milize reply "Yes, your training is start from today, my lord"
Milize opens a door beyond that door, there stair leading down somewhere.
She invoke a spell by it's name "fireball"
A ball of fire manifested into the air. She looked back and said to nihil, who was watching in awe "let go"
Nihil nodded.
They walked down the long stair to the dungeon. As they reached the dark empty corridor, Nihil stopped, he lowered his gaze and his body began to tremble in fear as unpleasant memories resurfaced in his mind, he remembered the agony, despair, suffering and humiliation he had endured in darkness.
Milize stopped and turned back, Nihil was standing frozen in place, she raised her hand slightly into the air and asked in a worried tone "Are you ok? my lord"
Nihil's mind went blank as he looked up at Milize. In his distorted vision, he hallucinated Milize as Shirley. The chamber fell into an eerie silence, which was suddenly shattered by Nihil's terrified scream.
"Why are you here?!... Shirley!!! Why?!"
Milize put her hand on the Nihil head and petted him gently "Calm down, my lord, I'm Milize, your maid"
Nihil suddenly fell silent, he moved up his head slowly until his eyes meet Milize gentle gaze, she was gently smiling at him, then she said softly "Shirley is gone, there is no one here that would hurt you, my lord"
Nihil said to himself inwardly "Yes! What am I fearing... there is no way this gentle lady would hurt me... Shirley is gone, she is just a trauma of the past."
Nihil said to Milize "I'm sorry, I screamed at you"
Milize respond "It's ok, let go"
Nihil nodded...
They soon reached a room, Nihil asked with curiosity "Why are the weapon inventory down here in the basement"
Milize replied "Because this is the church, a place of worship not a place to keep weapons around, that is why they are in the basement hidden from everyone, this is a secret of church of Ignis… keep it a secret, understand?"
Nihil nodded as he said "Yes"
Milize takes out the keys from her apron and unlocks the lock.
She opened the wooden door, and the chamber echoed with the creaking sound of old wood. They stepped inside, with Nihil following closely behind her. The room's walls were lined with shelves, and upon those shelves rested various weapons and ancient artifacts.
Milize asked, "So, which one do you like, your highness?"
Nihil replied "their are so many of them, I don't know which one to choose"
Milize response "Choose whatever you want"
Nihil walked toward a sword and picked it up.
Milize said from behind "You have a good eyes, my lord" as nihil looked back with the sword on his hand, she continues "This is the ancient cursed sword it's previous holder was the third demon king Anos di Volmor, The sword name is Hornex"
Nihil said "I want this sword"
Milize replied "Understood, my lord, Then this sword is yours from now, Let's go my lord for your first training session"
Nihil nodded and said "Yes, but where"
Milize replied "I tell you once we reach there" Then Milize extended her hand and asked "hold my hand my lord"
Nihil looked at Milize with a worried expression.
Milize said softly "You don't have worry about me, my lord, I'm Immortal, Immortality is a special privilege that allow me to live forever, so even if you touch me, I won't die"
Nihil eyes widened in shock as he asked "Really, Is that true"
Milize nodded and said "Yes"
Nihil slowly held Milize's hand with an anxious look on his face, then he was surprised to see Milize alive.
Milize said "Look... I told you" nihil smiled and nodded.
Milize invoke a spell "Teleport"
Milize and Nihil vanished from the room in an instant. A blinding flash of white light swallowed everything around them and for a few disorienting moments, neither of them could see anything at all. As their vision slowly recovered, Nihil was shocked to find himself standing on the edge of the cliff, Before him is a vast green and dense forest, The sky was brilliantly blue, birds drifting lazily on the wind, massive thick cloud covered the sky dragging their shadows across the forest far below.
Nihil said in a shocking tone "How?... we were in the room just a moment ago..."
Milize said "Oh, of course, you're not familiar with teleportation, I have Teleportation skill that allow me to instantly go to a place than I've been before"
Nihil said in amazement "That amazing" then he asked "Is Immortality is your skill as well"
Milize replied "No, it's not, I am Immortal, because I am a Vampire"
Nihil asked "Who a Vampire?"
Milize replied "A species that can live thousand of years and posses regenerative capabilities"
