As expected, Azrael carried me, and I had blacked out again from the lightning.
"Lightning keeps targeting her today!" I heard Liora say through her chewing.
"Are you sure we should just sit back and watch?" she asked, and my eyes popped open.
I stared at her stuffing her mouth with fried chicken.
"This restaurant really is great," she complimented again.
"Don't worry, she is fine," Azrael said, and I gritted my teeth. If he hadn't carried me to this restaurant, I would have been fine.
He noticed my glare and winked at me. I scoffed and stood up, approaching the table.
"Shouldn't you tidy yourself up before you settle down?" Liora asked, but it only made me glare straight at her, and she shut her lips.
I reached to grab a shrimp, but Veyra held my wrist.
"Wait, wash your hands first!" he said, and I just stared.
I glanced as my hands landed in the bowl. I didn't even move them yet, but Veyra gently held my hands and washed them.
