Gawd, how long has it been since we started walking? Ughhh, it feels like it's been ten hours. I stared down at my foot and let out an angry puff.
"Do you even know where Azrael is?" I snapped, and Sonia paused, turning. "You can find him yourself, if you think you can," she said, staring over her shoulder.
I froze. The woods got more eerie the deeper you went, and with the dense greenery blocking out what little sunlight there was to begin with, it was much darker. With the stronger monsters and ghouls residing deeper in the forest, I'd rather not be by myself. Even if she didn't know where he was, she's still a dragon.
"Carry on," I said, and she scoffed.
Veyra stared at me briefly and gently parted my hair to the side, flashing me a smile before continuing to walk.
"Do you perhaps need me to carry you?" Ryker asked, and I shook my head. He smiled softly and continued at Veyra's pace.
