Chapter 1 - Life points

Title: Life Is a Struggle

Life had never been easy for Arjun. From the very beginning, it felt as though he had been born into a storm—one that refused to calm down. His childhood was not filled with toys, laughter, or carefree days. Instead, it was shaped by responsibilities, hardships, and silent tears that he learned to hide behind a brave face.

Arjun was born in a small village where opportunities were scarce and dreams often faded before they could even take shape. His father was a daily wage laborer who worked tirelessly under the scorching sun, and his mother stitched clothes late into the night to make ends meet. Despite their efforts, there were days when even two meals felt like a luxury.

From a young age, Arjun understood that life was not going to be handed to him on a silver platter. While other children played in the fields after school, he helped his mother with her work or accompanied his father to construction sites. He watched his parents struggle silently, and deep inside, a fire began to grow—a determination to change his destiny.

School was his only escape, his only hope. Arjun loved studying, not because it was easy, but because it gave him a reason to believe that life could be different. However, even that path was filled with obstacles. He often went to school without proper books, sometimes even without food. There were days when hunger made it difficult to concentrate, but he never gave up.

One day, his teacher noticed his dedication. Despite his torn uniform and worn-out shoes, Arjun always completed his assignments and asked thoughtful questions. The teacher encouraged him and even provided him with extra books. That small act of kindness became a turning point in his life. For the first time, someone believed in him beyond his circumstances.

But life had more tests in store.

When Arjun was in his teenage years, his father fell seriously ill. The family's already fragile financial condition collapsed. Medical bills piled up, and Arjun had to make a difficult choice—continue his education or support his family.

With a heavy heart, he decided to leave school and start working. He took up small jobs—washing dishes at a roadside stall, carrying goods in the market, and sometimes even working late nights at a factory. Each day was exhausting, but he never complained. Deep inside, he carried the pain of leaving his studies unfinished.

However, Arjun was not someone who gave up easily. Even after long hours of work, he would sit under a dim streetlight at night and read whatever books he could find. People often laughed at him. "What's the use?" they would say. "Life is about survival, not dreams."

But Arjun believed otherwise.

Years passed, and his struggles continued. His father's condition improved slightly, but the burden of the family still rested on Arjun's shoulders. He had grown stronger, not just physically, but mentally. Every hardship had shaped him into someone who refused to break.

One evening, while working at a small shop, Arjun met a man who changed his life forever. The man noticed Arjun reading an old book during his break and struck up a conversation. Impressed by his determination, the man offered him a chance to work in a city—at a company where Arjun could earn better and maybe even continue his education.

It felt like a dream. But it also meant leaving his family behind.

After days of thinking, Arjun decided to take the risk. He knew that sometimes, struggle demands difficult choices. With hope in his heart and fear in his eyes, he left his village and stepped into a new world.

The city was overwhelming. Tall buildings, fast-moving crowds, and a life that never seemed to slow down. Arjun felt lost at first, but he didn't let that stop him. He worked hard at his new job and enrolled in night classes to complete his education.

Balancing work and studies was not easy. There were nights when exhaustion made him want to quit. There were moments when he questioned whether all this struggle was worth it. But then he would remember his parents, his village, and the life he wanted to build.

Slowly, things began to change.

Arjun completed his education and gained new skills. His dedication did not go unnoticed, and he was promoted to a better position. For the first time in his life, he felt a sense of stability. He could send money back home regularly, ensuring that his family no longer had to suffer the way they once did.

But success did not come overnight. It was built on years of pain, sacrifice, and relentless effort.

Even after achieving stability, Arjun never forgot his roots. He returned to his village and started helping children who faced the same struggles he once did. He provided them with books, guidance, and most importantly, hope.

He often told them, "Life is a struggle, but struggle is not your enemy. It is your teacher. It shapes you, tests you, and prepares you for something greater."

Arjun's journey was not perfect. It was filled with failures, setbacks, and moments of doubt. But it was also a story of resilience, courage, and the power of believing in oneself.

Life will always have challenges. There will be times when everything feels impossible, when the weight of the world seems too heavy to carry. But it is in those moments that true strength is born.

Arjun's story teaches us that struggle is not a sign of weakness—it is a path to growth. Every hardship carries a lesson, and every setback is an opportunity to rise stronger.

In the end, life is not about how easy it is, but about how bravely we face its difficulties.

Because life is a struggle… but it is also a journey worth fighting for.
