Sienna smiled as she watched her husband study the results with complete seriousness. She could see a faint frown appear on his forehead as his eyes moved from one line to another.
She felt amused as his expression grew even more focused, as though he were trying to solve a complicated business problem.
After waiting a while—yet seeing Zachary still intently studying the papers in his hands—Sienna finally could not hold back any longer. "Do you understand what it is?"
"Yeah," he replied, looking up to meet her eyes. "...I've seen this kind of report before. These are lab results for a blood test, right?"
"Yes." A faint smile formed on her lips. "So, you get the meaning, right?"
He shook his head. "... actually, I don't quite understand the rest. Should I call Scott right now and ask him to read it for us?"
