Jessica began slipping out of her red dress until she was left in her underwear. She removed her stilettos and placed them beside the bed before sitting on the edge of the mattress.
The man barely moved, and she watched him closely, noticing only the back of his head.
"Zach... I'm here. Can you hear me?" she asked softly.
She climbed onto the bed, moving closer to him. At the same time, the man finally stirred. His shoulders shifted, and a low growl escaped his throat.
Jessica's breathing quickened at his growl. The heat in her body kept growing, leaving her strangely restless. She couldn't understand why she was suddenly having such difficulty thinking clearly, but she pushed the concern aside.
"Zach, it's me. I am here, just for you..." She called him softly.
He moved again, turning his head slightly toward her. Jessica leaned forward, her eyes searching his face in the dim light. She was already imagining his reaction when he realized she had come to him.
