In a world full of pressure and uncertainty, it breaks a Christian who participates faithfully in every spiritual activity_church services, prayers, fasting, giving and yet struggles relentlessly with little or nothing to show for it. Meanwhile, those who barely acknowledge God, or do not serve Him at all, seem to flourish in abundance, thriving in the comforts of the world and the works of the flesh.
It raises silent questions no one dares to ask aloud.
Is God fair? Does obedience still matter?
Collins sat at the edge of his bed long after the room had gone quiet. The night had settled, but his thoughts refused to rest. His Bible lay open beside him, its thin pages gently curled, as though waiting to be touched again.
