From the vast deserts, a little boy wandered alone, walking under the scorching sun. He kept asking himself, "Who am I? Where did I come from?"
As he continued walking, tired and confused, he suddenly stumbled and fell to the ground. Just before he lost consciousness, he saw the faint image of a little girl standing in the distance.
After three hours…
The boy slowly opened his eyes. He looked around in confusion and softly muttered, "Where am I?"
A gentle voice replied, "You are in my home."
The boy turned his head and saw a little girl standing beside him. She looked at him curiously and asked, "What is your name?"
The boy hesitated for a moment and replied, "I'm sorry… I don't remember my name."
The little girl smiled warmly and said, "My name is Yue Ling."
At that moment, an old man entered the room. He looked at the boy with sharp eyes and said, "Yue Ling, is this the boy you found? He looks like he has been in a fight."
Yue Ling's grandfather entered the room.
At first, Yue Ling quickly stood up and said, "Grandpa, this is the boy I found."
The old man looked at the boy carefully and asked, "Yue Ling, who is he?"
Yue Ling replied, "Grandpa, he fainted outside. When he woke up, he couldn't even remember his name."
The grandfather nodded slowly and said, "I see…"
Just then, the boy held his head and said weakly, "I'm… very hungry…"
Yue Ling immediately said, "Grandpa, let's talk later. He needs food first."
"Alright," the old man agreed. "Go to the kitchen and prepare some food for him."
Yue Ling nodded and quickly went to prepare the meal.
After some time, the boy ate and felt a little better.
The grandfather then asked calmly, "Young man, do you remember anything? Where did you come from?"
The boy shook his head and replied, "No… I don't remember anything. Even my name… I can't recall it."
The old man thought for a moment and said, "In that case, you can stay with us for now. Until you recover your memories."
The boy nodded gratefully.
Then he asked, "Grandpa, can you tell me about this place?"
The old man smiled slightly and said, "This world is known as the Earth Realm… but beyond it lies a vast universe filled with powerful cultivators."
The old man sat down calmly and looked at the boy with deep, thoughtful eyes.
"You must be very tired," he said gently. "Rest here for now. This place is safe."
The boy nodded slowly, still feeling weak. "Thank you… for helping me," he said in a soft voice.
Yue Ling returned with a bowl of warm food and placed it in front of him. "Eat slowly," she said with a kind smile.
The boy took the bowl with trembling hands and began to eat. With every bite, he felt a little stronger.
After finishing, he looked at both of them and said, "I don't know who I am… or where I came from. It feels like my past has completely disappeared."
The old man stroked his beard and replied, "Sometimes, fate hides the truth until the right moment."
The boy looked confused. "Fate…?"
"Yes," the old man said. "Perhaps your journey has just begun. From today onward, your life will change."
Yue Ling looked at the boy curiously. "Then… what should we call you?"
The boy fell silent for a moment, then said, "Since I have no name… please give me one."
The old man smiled slightly. "Then from today, your name shall be… Ling Tian."
The boy repeated softly, "Ling Tian…"
For some reason, the name felt familiar—like an echo from a forgotten past.
