Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Holy KP

Felicia and I were back on the streets.

"Anything else you have to do?"

The sun had just passed its peak, leaving us with plenty of time left in terms of business hours.

"Yeah, I'm just going to buy something real quick."

I pulled out my phone, searched for property listings, and found the perfect one. A house right in front of Felicia's was for sale.

'System.'

[You want to buy it through me?]

'I can, right?'

It had shown instances of interacting with reality beyond what it explained. If one needed an example, it could literally get me money. It even threw in a black card status when I purchased the money.

[Yeah, but it'll cost KP, not money.]

'How much?'

[The house is already $500,000, which is absurdly cheap, but I guess it's because of everything that happens around here. Anyway, it'll cost 5,500; the extra 500 is my fee. Interacting with reality outside of you is tough, you know?]

'How much do I have?'

[35,000.]

"C-Cough!"

"You alright?!" Felicia rubbed my back while I gave her a nod, focusing on the system.

'Buy the house.'

[Confirmed. The deed will be digitized. Also, as a freebie, your house's security functions have been greatly improved. Fingerprints and retinas will be necessary to enter, and the PIN is 040126.]

The system was awesome. Truly awesome. I couldn't have asked to be more blessed by its presence; of course, this is assuming that I'm not counting Felicia.

Ding~

An email notification came through with the deed and all the paperwork for my house. Now all I needed was furniture.

'Think—'

[Light furniture, medium, or large?]

'Just something light.'

[Just 1,100 then.]

'Thanks, goat.'

I smiled and took Felicia's waist. Her peach-colored lips were happy that she was in my arms. Her enticing smile made me want to kiss her in front of everyone walking past.

"Did everything go smoothly?"

"Yeah, I just bought a house," I dropped the bombshell, like it was the most normal thing in the world.

"Huh?" She looked like that was the last thing she expected me to say.

"I just bought a house."

"I heard you the first time! How?! Where is it?!"

"You'll never guess," I said with a smirk.

"Don't tease me! Tell me! Tell me!" She shook me like a snow globe. It took her a bit to calm down before we could start heading over there. Her interrogation tactics didn't work against me!

..

.

"No freaking way!" Her head snapped between her house and mine. "You did this on purpose, right?"

"I thought your mom might let you stay over more if she could walk over."

"I see~ I see~, you want me to sleep over, huh?"

"Of course. I would love to wake up to you in my arms." I squeezed her hand a bit tighter. "If you moved in, that would be even better."

"Gosh. You're going to make me never want to leave, you idiot~."

She pushed me forward to my door. A pinpad popped up as the camera flickered on. I could see it scan my eyes as the cover over the numbers of the pinpad opened up, along with a finger scanner on its side.

I pressed my thumb against the cool glass of the sensor and tapped in my PIN, the scanner's feedback vibrating against my skin. The heavy deadbolts retracted with a heavy, satisfying thunk, and the door opened with a smooth click.

We walked in and found an empty hall. Slipping off our shoes and moving in further. Our first stop was the living room, where a 70-inch 4K TV hung on the wall, with a large, ring-shaped couch and a marble coffee table greeting us.

The kitchen, just a few steps away, had the essentials: a coffee maker, the refrigerator with its gentle hum, and plenty of culinary items. Thankfully, we had a dishwasher that would spare us so much time when we did the dishes.

Upstairs was where we really focused our attention. The two guest rooms had a TV, a bed, and a dresser. Neither of the rooms lacks quality when compared to the amazing living room downstairs. The two guest bathrooms were stocked with essentials, much like the kitchen, but with toiletries instead.

The master bedroom was the ultimate room. The creme de la crop of this purchase of mine.

"Whoa."

A 100-inch 4K Smart TV hung on the wall. A walk-in closet that led into a bathroom with a massive tub that could easily fit four people, and a walk-in shower that could fit double what the bathtub could. The double king-size bed had fresh silver sheets lining it. The best part, though, was the closet that I mentioned, which had a bunch of clothes from numerous brands, as well as shoes.

"I thought you just bought it." She looked at me suspiciously. Thankfully, the system had receipts, which I showed her. Her face turned deadpan as she asked, "LightSpeed Delivery?"

"I-it's an exaggeration."

"It only took us an hour to get here…"

"The house came furnished; the clothes were the delivery."

"How'd they get in?"

"The security system wasn't turned on until they left."

"Pfft~ relax, relax." She ran around the massive master bedroom like a child. "Want to take a bath together?"

My breathing stopped. "Fuck yeah."

"Too bad~!" She rushed into the bathroom, locking the door. She even stole a few clothes near the door as she walked in.

'Damn, that was hot.'

My little brother needed to breathe. I took off my pants and swapped to shorts. My little brother needed it for Christ's sake.

'Fuck, I don't think I can ever forget that.'

The way she swayed her hips and bent down erotically to grab a pair of my shorts. Just the thought that she was bathing behind the door sent me to the moon.

"Huuuuu~ Haaaaa~" I tried calming down with deep breaths, but it didn't work.

'My girlfriend is so fucking perfect.'
