Chapter 5 - Love Story Begins:-

A few days later…

The routine had settled in.

Classes. Practice. Study. Repeat.

But that evening—

something felt different.

After the Martial Arts class ended,

students slowly began to leave.

Except one.

Anaya.

She stood there… quiet.

Lost in thought.

R.V. noticed.

He walked toward her.

"You didn't leave," he said calmly.

"Is something wrong?"

Anaya hesitated.

Then finally spoke—

"Yesterday… I went outside the hostel to buy fruits."

Her voice trembled slightly.

"There were some boys… standing there."

R.V.'s expression hardened.

"They started passing cheap comments…"

She paused.

"One of them said—

'Why buy bananas? Those cost money… we can give them for free.'"

Silence.

R.V.'s fists slowly clenched.

"I told him to shut up…"

Her voice broke.

"And he slapped me."

For a moment—

everything went still.

There was anger in the air.

Raw. Sharp.

But R.V. didn't explode.

He controlled himself.

Carefully.

"I told you," he said quietly,

"learn this with your heart… so you can face people like them yourself."

A pause.

Then his tone changed.

Colder.

"Don't worry."

He looked straight into her eyes.

"Tomorrow… we'll find them."

The Real Side of the Three:

The next evening…

After college ended—

Anaya reached their room.

She expected noise.

Fun. Chaos.

But what she saw…

surprised her.

R.V., Rocky, and Vivan—

all three were sitting separately.

Books open.

Focused.

Completely serious.

No jokes.

No distractions.

Just hard work.

Anaya stood there silently.

They're not just teachers…

They're fighters in their own lives too.

For the first time—

she truly saw them.

As soon as R.V. saw her, he stood up.

"Let's go."

No delay.

No questions.

Rocky and Vivan already knew everything.

R.V stepped out.

Anaya with him.

Searching.

For those boys.

Soon…

they found them.

Near the roadside.

But what they saw next—

was worse.

A group of goons were beating a poor street vendor.

Slaps. Pushes. Abuse.

Anaya pointed.

"It's them…"

R.V. stepped forward.

Calm.

Controlled.

"Why are you hitting him?" he asked.

The goons turned.

Smirking.

"Who are you?" one of them said, stepping closer.

R.V. rolled up his sleeves.

For a second—

it looked like a fight was about to begin.

But then—

something unexpected happened.

As the goon approached,

R.V. lowered his tone.

"I'm sorry," he said.

Anaya froze.

What…?

Her mind raced.

He's scared?

After all that talk…?

But she didn't understand—

R.V. wasn't scared.

He was trying to end it peacefully.

One last chance.

But then—

the goon abused him.

That was it.

In the very next second—

R.V.'s leg moved.

A sharp kick.

Straight to the knees.

The goon collapsed.

Before he could react—

R.V. grabbed his hair, pulled him up—

SLAP!

A loud, echoing slap.

"You thought I'm like everyone else?"

R.V.'s voice was cold now.

"I'm not."

And then—

it began.

Within moments—

every single goon was on the ground.

Beaten. Broken. Silent.

The street fell quiet.

Anaya stood there…

stunned.

Then suddenly—

she ran toward him.

Wrapped her arms around him.

And before she could stop herself—

she kissed his cheek.

"Thank you…"

Her voice was soft.

But real.

R.V.'s Truth:

On the way back—

the silence felt different.

Not awkward.

Just… deep.

Anaya looked at him.

"Sir… you three study so much… why?"

R.V. didn't answer immediately.

Then finally—

"We're not teachers."

She looked surprised.

"We're B.Tech 3rd year students."

A pause.

Then his voice grew heavier.

"My father died 4 years ago."

Anaya's steps slowed.

"My mother… handled everything alone."

He swallowed.

"But then… an accident."

Silence.

"She lost both her legs."

Anaya's eyes widened.

"I have a younger sister too…

her marriage… her future…"

His voice almost broke—

"I can't afford to fail."

A deep breath.

"So I came here."

"To earn. To survive."

"To make sure they smile."

Anaya didn't say anything.

She just walked beside him…

feeling every word.

Rocky's New Case:

Meanwhile—

in the library…

Rocky sat casually.

Lost in thought.

When suddenly—

a girl came running toward him.

Tears in her eyes.

"Sir…"

Her voice shook.

"I need help."

Rocky looked up.

Calm.

"Sit."

She wiped her tears.

"Gaurav… he lied to me."

Rocky's expression didn't change.

"He said he loved me…"

A pause.

"But today… he said—

'I don't love you… I was just having fun… you're old now.'"

Silence.

Heavy.

Cold.

Rocky leaned forward slightly.

His eyes sharp now.

"What is your name?"

"Ishika…" she whispered.

Rocky closed his notebook slowly.

For the first time—

this didn't feel like a joke.

This felt like a case.

And he was ready.

To be continued….......
