Introduction

[This chapter will help you understand the story before reading. It explains the things you will see, hear, and encounter throughout the story, so you won't be completely lost when things start getting complicated.

So, before we begin, let's understand how this world works.]

General Information:

The System:

The System is an interface granted to humans during The Falling. Every human has access to their own System.

It displays information about the individual, including their level, stats, skills, abilities, rank, and potential.

The System also records the development of a person as they become stronger.

Powers:

Powers are supernatural abilities gained through Awakening. Every Hunter can have different powers depending on their abilities and potential.

Powers can be improved through experience, training, and the development of new skills.

Awakening

Awakening is the process through which a person gains their supernatural abilities.

A person who successfully awakens becomes a Hunter and gains access to the abilities required to enter and clear Dungeons.

Potential:

Potential represents a person's capacity for growth.

It is separate from their current strength, level, and rank.

A Hunter with high potential has greater room for development, while a Hunter with low potential will reach their limits sooner.

Levels:

A Hunter's level represents their progression.

Hunters gain experience through activities such as defeating monsters and clearing Dungeons. As their level increases, their overall capabilities improve.

Hunter Ranks:

Hunter ranks measure a Hunter's overall combat capability.

The ranking system is:

E → D → C → B → A → S → SS

E-Class is the lowest rank, while SS-Class is the highest.

Rank, level, and potential are separate measurements.

Dungeons:

Dungeons are areas accessed through portals.

They contain monsters, resources, materials, and bosses. Hunters enter Dungeons to clear them, gain experience, and obtain resources.

Dungeons vary in difficulty, and higher-difficulty Dungeons require stronger Hunters.

Organizations:

The Hunter Association manages Hunters, including registration, rank evaluations, licenses, and Dungeon-related operations.

Guilds are organizations that recruit Hunters and arrange Dungeon expeditions, contracts, and teams.

Independent Hunters operate without belonging to a Guild and can take Dungeon-related work on their own.
