As we move into this new era, the chapters will generally stay around 1,500 words because of the MGS and Win-Win requirement. But when I'm writing, originally, some chapters may be a little shorter or longer than 1500 words depending on how the scenes flow and how much editing or restructuring is needed.
You may also occasionally see two POVs in the same chapter. This will only happen when the story naturally benefits from it or it falls short of the word requirement... for example, when one character's section ends before the chapter feels complete and another character's scene fits perfectly afterward.
Whenever the POV changes, it will be clearly marked and separated, so do not worry, you will always know whose perspective you are following. A chapter may focus entirely on one character, while another may contain two different POV sections. The switches will not be random or forced; they will happen based on where the strongest emotional weight, action, or story development is at that moment.
Most importantly, the story itself will always come first. I don't want to stretch scenes with unnecessary filler just to hit a word count, and I don't want to force a POV change simply because a chapter is short. Every chapter will still be written to feel complete, engaging, and meaningful.
With the Heirs' Era, I'm also putting much more attention into stronger character development, natural relationships, fresh locations, new characters, pack life, romance, adventure, and a wider world.
Thank you for continuing this journey with me. ❤️🐺
