Chapter 14 - I suppose he’s not that useless

Narrator POV

The three were off to a great start as far as training goes. At first it was useless as he had thought due to the sparring they did there was no damage Tao could do. Prior to them getting started, Cato actually visited Korin's tower very sneakily to steal some senzu beans for ninja Murasaki without notice.

The two watched on in the first day what the boy's training regiment in awe, he did some Arale-like, Saitama, Mashe sort of physical exercises doing things at incredible speeds and large amounts of weighted bodies of objects. They once went to the ocean and Caro split it beyond eye sight with a single punch in the air. This had Tao feeling like he had much to improve on, but he decided what he could do for this monstrosity is teach him every way to kill a man. He'd teach the anatomy of the body and every vital point and points of pressure and how to break them down or disable them permanently.

Murasaki on the other hand.. yea he basically was starting fresh physically. He has some decent skills but Tao could beat this boy with his pinky toe, this actually gave him back his high ego he once had before meeting Caro.

"The human brain can rattle if shaken up enough inside the skull. You must apply enough striking force to accelerate, decelerate, or rotate the head of a man but that's only if you want to cleanly kill and not just snatch the head off entirely." Tao lectured. It's honestly only been three weeks and he's taught Caro a lot due to the fact that it only takes one listen for the boy to understand and apply what he's learned. Murasaki couldn't keep up. He was no Krillin to Caro's being like Goku but Caro did have a nice fondness of the man's spirit before just for going up to Tao and standing in his own presence too without backing down.

"Would the jaw be a precise striking entry?" Murasaki asked in genuine interest.

"Exactly, that may be the best for somebody of our physical prowess. Good job weakling." Tao responded with a bit of pride he tried to keep hidden in his voice. At first he was honestly not on board with taking him in due to weakness but he's appreciated the spirit of Murasaki too, albeit he's a coward to power but he seeks it due to the lacking of it. That's all that matters in this world to Tao. Power.

Caro was pretty much feeling like he could wrap this training up and head to Roshi tonight although he felt like maybe this would create a line between him and these two so he didn't say much. Not because he didn't want to but he didn't know how to say the words.

As he was staring in the direction of Roshi's island seeming like he was spaced out, Tao took his attention immediately noticing this. "Boy, pay attention now. I have somebody arriving here that I would feel honored for you both to meet. He's a world class warrior who had his hand in beating the demon king himself. He's also my master, master Shen. Master these are my two students, Caro and Murasaki."

Caro wide eyed not realizing he never noticed this old figure even approaching the nearby environment. As the leader of the Crane school stepped up, there was a child next to him. He was about the same age as Caro but he was far smaller than him physically, though he was still pretty built for his age himself as well.

"Such promising assassins you're training Tao, I'm the leader of the Crane school, the higher up for both of you if you will. This is Tien, my newest student who is going to be the worlds greatest world class assassin that's ever been seen on earth, I want you all to be acquainted and train against each other in competitive nature." Shen stated with an evil smile as he looked at Caro seeing a boy who might've been competing already.

Tao hadn't said much to his master due to a time a few weeks ago he tried to keep something from Caro but his perception was extreme and obviously he couldn't keep the fact that he tried to steal a senzu bean from Caro.

Caro sat in his thoughts thinking maybe this can be used to his advantage, but also this could be bad if they want him to permanently be around. Tao already was trying to use innocent lives in some of their training up until Caro made him use other methods instead. This would be tricky to get around but it's nothing he's not capable of. The end goal he had in mind was to actually reunite the Turtle and Crane school by the time Kakarot arrived so he could get stronger faster and have more technique to work with and sparring partners.

The more people that trained together the stronger they'd get faster too, just common dragon ball logic.

"You boy, I want you to spar Tien so I can gauge both of your trainings. Fight to kill." Shen demanded from the both of the boys.

Tien looked disdainfully at Caro as though he was a long time enemy, this made Caro feel bad for the brain washing they did to Tien in his early life but he never knew it was this early. Tien actually raised his fists and sent a flying kick to Caro.

Tao and Murasaki knew this was going to end bad so they looked at Tien in worry.

"What's up with all of the flying kicks lately? Is that all you people like?" Caro genuinely asked out loud surprising Shen. Tien could understand but not day full on sentences. This shocked him but not what would happen next.

As the foot of Tien seemed to make contact he actually started rubbing his foot in pain. It felt to him as though he kicked the entirety of the very earth itself, but the thing is he didn't even make contact with Caro. Caro wasn't even there anymore it was his afterimage he kicked. Caro was nowhere to be seen, nobody saw him move and nobody seen where he ended up.

He was actually standing next to Shen just blending in with the crowd on the sideline. Once everybody noticed his location, Tien passed out and collapsed on the ground. In that moment that everybody seen him he went back towards Tien in an instant and patted above his third eye on his bald head like a dog but only once. He then sped back to his original position next to Shen and the others in the exact same posture from each muscular detail all before their eyes could register he was standing still. This action happened so fast even Tien who had been the only person who watched Caro tap his head due to having three eyes. His eyes went to the back of his head and his body thudded.

This entire moment caused Shen to sweat, he then tried to chop the boy through his heart piercing it. A few months ago this would've been more successful, maybe not penetrating but causing pain yes, but Caro has leapt to a league that no normal man could make happen. Caro caught his hand as his finger nail broke on his chest before he could break the rest of his hand, and Caro pulled him close and told Shen he wouldn't kill Tien.

"We will all train and learn your techniques, but I will learn what you have to offer and leave. If we spar now I'd like to make a wager. You will do an absolute no ifs ands or buts favor if I win it's just one "OK" you have to give me and can't decline. If I lose I will give my undying loyalty to you." Caro said.

Shen was so shocked at this boys well spoken vocabulary and at the fact that this was a great deal.

"Ok, but one thing I'll add is you will give me the secrets to your power and that tail." Shen said a bit nervously but confident in his own hidden techniques.

"Deal." Caro responded.

Then Shen immediately sent an immediate dodon ray straight to Caro and this awed everybody except for Caro. He had expected it. With that in mind he smirked and caught the blast which is literally impossible.

Everyone there's jaw dropped and then Caro decided to do something bolder and even he wasn't sure of this especially since it's one thing he never trained for. He put the blast in his mouth and swallowed it.

Shen fell to his back in dumbfounded anxiety he couldn't handle. With that the match was practically decided to be victorious for Caro.

Elsewhere in the cosmos.

"King Vegeta, there's two saiyans here that are completely unfamiliar in our database. They claim to have been fighting a wizard and honestly there's not much information about them." A random soldier said.

"Who do they say they are?" King Vegeta asked without much concern to the topic.

The soldier responded with more worry than anybody in the room, "Shallot and Giblet sire."
