The next morning, Morticia arrived at the residence, intent on seeing Gideon in person.
"High Priestess, right this way," a servant said, bowing deferentially. "Prince Gideon and Princess Adeline are currently in the garden."
Morticia gave a brief nod and followed her closely through the wide archways leading outdoors. As they approached the glass doors, her eyes locked onto the garden patio, where Adeline and Gideon sat together on an outdoor sofa, engaged in warm conversation and laughing effortlessly.
The servant stepped forward to announce her arrival before bowing and stepping aside to leave them.
"Have a seat, High Priestess," Gideon said, offering a calm, polite greeting as he gestured toward the armchair across from them.
"Can I get you some coffee or a light drink?" Adeline asked, her tone welcoming and perfectly composed.
