By the next morning, Gideon woke up feeling refreshed and far better than the night before. Finding the bedroom empty, he walked downstairs, only to see that his father and half-brother had arrived.
"Here comes Prince Gideon," Adeline remarked with a gentle smile, looking up toward the staircase.
Huxley rose to his feet, and Ensley quickly followed suit. Gideon approached his father, offering a respectful bow before embracing him tightly. "Forgive me for making you worry," he whispered.
"I am just glad to see you feeling better," Huxley stated, patting his son's back affectionately.
As they pulled away, Gideon met Ensley's gaze and offered a welcoming nod. "Please, take your seats."
He waited for his father to sit first before taking a chair himself. Meanwhile, Adeline helped the maids set down teacups and fresh morning snacks in front of everyone.
