Viktor lifted his gaze and saw it was Gideon standing in front of him.
Gideon vanished from his position in a blur of movement, reappearing instantly in front of the attacker who had just crashed heavily into a massive tree. Gripping the man tightly by his collar, the prince threw a brutal punch straight into his stomach, followed by a swift strike to the face, completely knocking him unconscious.
Viktor watched as the prince disappeared from sight once more, this time taking the unconscious attacker with him. Moments later, Gideon returned alone, finding Viktor still standing at the scene.
"Are you alright?" Gideon asked, his sharp eyes scanning for any injuries.
"Yes, Your Highness," Viktor replied. "Thank you for saving my life," he asserted, bowing his head in humble gratitude.
"Train harder. You couldn't even handle a single assassin. Don't tell me all you do is run behind Edith to please her all the time," Gideon taunted him, his expression cold.
