"We will go out near noon," Gideon said as they finished eating. "You should rest in your room until then, or if you want to take a walk outside, you can do that. I have to meet with the commander regarding the border security."
Adeline nodded quietly, watching as Gideon gave a final glance to Micah. The two men stood and walked out together, their conversation already shifting to logistics and defense.
