The school I am attending is Izumitate Junior High. If I remember correctly Daichi Sawamura, captain of Karasuno High, graduated from this middle school who later joined Karasuno High School.
As I approach the gates, a boy with freckles and slight brown hair calls me," KIRITO! KIRITO!". I looked up ahead and gave him a smile and say, "Yo".
According to this boy's memory this was his best friend and as well as partner in crime in volleyball(setter).
"How are you feeling?" Sato asks enthusiastically.
"Little sad and disappointed in myself " I said.
"Hell no! What's there to be upset and disappointed to be!" Sato said defensively.
I looked to him and just sighed. Then, I slung my arm over his body and rubbed his hair and said "Ain't gonna lose ever again".
He looked at me and said "Always got your back, Ace!".
And just like that we went to our classes and during whole class I was fidgeting as to when I can touch the volleyball and play.
Finally, after all our classes finished I rushed towards the gymnasium. There, I could see multiple students playing different kinds of sports like basketball ,badminton etc in there respective area.
Around the back of the gym court I could see around 7-8 boys practicing digging, receiving and spiking. I quickly joined them and as I was approaching everyone stopped and looked at me. They all said in unison, "Welcome back, Ace!".
I scratched back of my head and nodded to all of them and said, "I am back".
All of them started to bombard question about whether I was fine or not. I replied to all of them patiently and said I was doing fine. After that everyone dispersed and continued their activity.
As I bend over to pickup volleyball, suddenly a interface pops up infront of my face. At that sight my heart started to beat faster and I got excited. I was very happy because this is my golden finger.
[Hello Host, I am the system to assist to achieve Host's desire.] calmly said the system.
Mentally I said, "Do you mean like the volleyball?".
[Correct Host. But if that's not what you want to pursue we can still provide our services.]
"No, no I want to pursue volleyball itself." I said.
"Um, but what do you mean by providing services?". I asked calmly.
[First of all, Host. Do you wish to lock in Volleyball. Y/N]
"Yes, please". I said.
[Confirmed, Host].
[As for our service, I'll provide a lucky wheel of power, where you get 10 chances to spin. In that wheel are various supernatural power to help Host's dream and desire.]
[But if the power acquired is deemed to be too overpowered, the power will be distributed to the Host over course of period of time i.e when Host's physicality is able to withstand the given power.]
"Ookaayy...". I said skeptically and hesitantly.
"Will you be present and available during whole my lifetime?" I asked.
[Yes and no, Host. I will be present only till the Host acquires both the powers but this voice assistance and intelligence back and forth with the Host will not continue throughout Host's lifetime after you acquire both powerups.]
[Instead, a User Interface(UI) will be provided to see Host's statistics and from there it is upto Host's hardwork, perseverance, and consistency to grow.]
"Alright, system". I said excitedly because now it was time for main event.
