A series of hurried footsteps approached right after they hid well, led by a beastman of the White Lion tribe.
He lifted his nose to sniff in the air, then speaking in confusion:
"How strange, I just smelled a beastman scent, why can I not smell it anymore now."
Edward narrowed his eyes to look at the situation below, counting thirteen beastmen who were all people belonging to the White Lion clan. He heard a beastman among them speak while he was considering whether to let this group of people take his two younger brothers away:
"We should also go back, the inside is the territory of the Three-Eyed Wolves and Saber-Toothed Tigers, which we cannot defeat."
The leading beastman thought for a moment, saying: "We will walk a bit further, we might be able to find the fellow clan members of the Crimson people. We will walk about half a mile more, returning if we do not see anyone. We have used all our strength anyway..."
