Footsteps sounded outside the tent flap; Sane had returned, carrying a branch of Indian Jujube in his hand. Guessing that it was because he saw Kaelen liked eating them, he had snapped it off and brought it back.
When Walter saw the jujube branch, his teeth subconsciously felt sensitive; he found an excuse to slip away quickly, leaving the private space for the two friends.
"Barton said dinner is ready, and asked if you want to eat in the tent or go outside to join them."
