"I wish you a happy birthday, Lady Lilianne Blanchet," Luca said, giving a polite bow.
"Oh, there's no need for such formalities, Sir Lowell. I appreciate it," I replied with a warm smile, trying my best to be courteous. I returned a slight bow.
Luca straightened up and broke into laughter.
It was obvious he had come straight from work, still in his Cantio uniform.
'Wait, it's not even the end of the workday.'
"How did you manage to sneak out?"
"I took a little detour. My dear friend decided to take some time off and celebrate their birthday, so, as a good friend, I thought I should join in the festivities," Luca explained.
"Are you out of your mind...?"
'I know how important Cantio's current project is.'
As I muttered the truth, Luca simply shrugged.
"I came here as Cantio's representative, alright? Their official representative. I'll have to head back soon."
