“I’m glad I made it in time.”
Aiden was holding a large bouquet of flowers in his arms, his eyes curving like crescents as he smiled brighter than the blossoms themselves.
He looked like a full-fledged florist.
It was as if he had always been meant to own a flower shop, just like I’d vaguely imagined in the past.
‘How much did all of that even cost?’
"Did you open a flower shop by any chance?"
I was so shocked that I skipped the pleasantries and questioned Aiden right away, making his eyes widen for a moment.
He then squinted shyly and handed me the bouquet.
"I picked them out with you in mind to celebrate your graduation. I didn't include my life force this time though, Lili."
"If you did, you’re dead..."
‘Don’t boast about the obvious.’
Aiden scratched his cheek a few times as I gazed at him coldly.
He’d likely decided to give up on trying anything since he thought I might scold him.
