"When have I ever been scared?" Joshua retorted, lifting the corners of his mouth slightly, although it seemed awkward and forced.
‘Well, protecting someone can be quite burdensome.’
"I'm just… a little irritated," he admitted.
"I'm just irritated that you’re being used like this," he added with a hint of frustration.
I couldn't find the right words to respond, so I simply rolled my eyes.
