After informing Lia of my decision to partake in the war, I finally ventured beyond the mansion on my own after quite some time.
Partly because I had completed my task in the morning for the first time.
Heinz had advised against me going out unaccompanied, but having a chaperone felt more bothersome to me.
No matter who would be next to me, I was going to be the strongest anyway.
I would have to protect them along with myself.
Though I might make an exception for Josh, Lia, or Cedric.
Yet, as expected, Joshua had gained acceptance into the Imperial Order and had departed for his assignment and training. Lia and Cedric were also in the palace.
‘Come to think of it, nearly everyone around me is linked to the palace, huh?’
A faint smile crossed my lips as I absorbed the scenery, unseen for so long, with my gaze.
‘Regardless, since opportunities to venture out alone like this will be rare for a while, I should enjoy today. A day of freedom for me!’
