Chapter 100

If there was one lesson I'd learned during my time at Delire, it was that graduating was far from guaranteed.
The presence of fourth and fifth-year students in what was supposed to be a three-year academy was evidence enough. It almost felt like a university or something - a place for those who couldn't move on, like academic fossils from ancient times.
"I have a feeling I'll be attending for another semester," Chloe sighed deeply, hanging from my arm as soon as the written exam ended.
I smiled and gently stroked her head.
"It’s okay, Chloe. I'll graduate first..."
"Ugh, you're so cold!"
‘This isn’t Korea, you know. I don’t have to be nice to you… You have to survive on your own in this world.’
I slightly pushed Chloe's complaining head away.
‘I wonder how Joshua did on his exam. I did the college entrance exams back in Korea, so I should have done reasonably well. But judging from Chloe's reaction, the written exams this year aren’t easy at all.’
