It seemed like Joshua wasn't quite keen on the idea of being part of the same family as me. After giving it some thought, I arrived at a tentative conclusion.
Joshua seemed to like me more than I had initially thought.
‘Not just Aiden and Carlisle, but even Joshua likes me? I already knew Lilianne was adorable enough to melt hearts, but this is something else.’
However, being the only girl among those kids, I still believed that their affection might just be a case of mistaken friendship for love.

As I was lost in my thoughts, a small hand suddenly waved in front of my eyes, snapping me back to reality. It was Aiden, wearing his usual bright smile. His presence meant that Michael was around too.
"Why doesn't big bro Cedric stop him, even though he knows?"
‘He made such a fuss when it was Robain… He even chased him away…’
Aiden's smile grew wider as he heard me.
