Chapter 68

These days, my world was truly bathed in shades of pink, at least within the confines of Royston Mansion. But of course, that wasn't solely due to my pink hair.
"Your sister seems quite exhausted these days."
"She's not tired, Josh. She's happy."
‘Obviously, you wouldn't get it.’
I responded nonchalantly, and Joshua tilted his head, clearly not understanding my statement.
‘There are things in this world you don't need to know about yet.’
I offered a wry smile and let out a dramatic yawn, stretching my arms. Lately, owing to Joshua's early awakenings, I had been finding myself up before even Lia did.
"Josh, Lili."
Cedric soon emerged from the dining hall, his expression marked by a gentle smile.
"Hey there, big bro. Where's Lia?"
"Lia is still asleep."
"Why does she sleep so much?"
"Because she's tired," Cedric said gently.
I could see his ears turning a faint shade of red as he spoke.
‘I see… so she's tired...’
