I quickly cleared up Daniel's anxious misunderstanding about going to the hospital. I explained that I wanted to visit the infirmary not because I was sick, but because my guardian knight was receiving treatment there.
Upon hearing this, Daniel let out a sigh of relief and mumbled, "Ah, that guardian knight..."
The way he muttered made it seem as though he knew Tev. But how could he know?
With widened eyes, I looked at Daniel and asked, "Do you know who my guardian knight is?"
"Given his background and the circumstances that brought him into our household, it's a pretty rare case," Daniel replied with a sly smile.
I pouted, thinking, 'I thought it was kept a secret...'
Even so, it seemed the secret couldn't be kept from the heir to our house.
