I was taken aback for a moment.
'Sibling? Who is he talking about?'
The answer came instantly. Who else could it be? There was only one person in this dorm related by blood to me.
“Are you talking about Eileen?”
[She does have that name.]
Sylpheed's response was apathetic.
Unable to suppress my surprise, I asked again, “Eileen shares a room with a man?”
[Yes.]
Sylpheed answered matter-of-factly as if conveying what he had simply observed. However, I couldn't remain calm after hearing his words.
“What do you mean…?”
My thoughts were muddled, and I struggled to articulate. Still, trying my best to calm myself, I questioned the one who had thrown me into this confusion.
“How did you find that out?”
[How? I heard it.]
“Heard it?”
Sylpheed began to explain. He said whenever I summoned him in the dorm, he often heard a male’s voice. It always came from the same place, the room where Eileen's voice consistently resonated.
