Chapter 73
'Well, first...'
I sat Eileen, who was standing still, on the couch. Once again, she obediently sat down in her seat without resistance. Looking at her small round head, I chose my words.
'How should I bring up the topic?'
It was momentarily disconcerting that she came suddenly. I could roughly guess why Eileen, who was so downcast and unable to say anything, came looking for me.
'Probably because of what happened at the festival.'
I was already curious about how she was doing. Because I still clearly remembered the scene of her being unconscious and collapsed on the floor at the time when I went to save her.
'I heard she was fine, but I was really worried until I saw her with my own eyes. It's a relief to see her looking okay now.'
Eileen might have felt the same, right? Even though she didn't know the exact situation, she might have known that I passed out after taking her outside.
