"They've started fighting Hōsenki…"
Seeing the disturbance in the distance, Uchiha Kasage quickly understood the situation.
The final shard of the Shikon Jewel must have been taken by Hōsenki to the tomb of Inu no Taisho.
At this moment, Naraku was likely hiding in the shadows, watching everything unfold—letting Inuyasha do the fighting while he waited to seize the outcome.
With that in mind, Kasage directed Tekkei downward.
"Bang!"
The massive Yokai beneath her feet vanished into smoke as she landed smoothly atop a nearby peak.
"Summoning Technique."
She formed a hand seal and slammed her palm against the ground.
Smoke erupted—
And the figure of Abi appeared before her.
Immediately after, Kasage clenched her right hand.
"Bang!"
A burst of smoke—
And the massive blade Banryū materialized in her grip.
Abi took the sword without a word.
Flames ignited beneath her feet.
In an instant—
She shot into the sky, heading straight toward the colossal skeleton in the distance.
Kasage watched her go, then calmly formed another seal—
Her body sank into the rock below, disappearing completely.
"Wind Scar!!"
A furious roar split the air.
A brilliant arc of power tore forward, slamming violently into Naraku's pale barrier.
The impact thundered—
But when the light faded…
Naraku stood completely unharmed.
Floating in the air, a mocking smile curled on his lips.
"Hmph… Inuyasha. Your Tessaiga is useless against me now."
His gaze dropped disdainfully to the sword.
"A blade like that… is worthless."
"Naraku!"
Just as Inuyasha prepared to strike again—
A blazing streak of fire shot into the sky.
Abi.
"Inuyasha" froze for a brief moment, caught off guard.
"Abi?!"
From below, Kagome, Sango, and Miroku all reacted with shock.
Naraku himself had claimed she was dead.
So why—
Was she here?
Naraku narrowed his eyes, then sneered coldly as the flames struck his barrier.
The fire dispersed—
And in that instant, Abi broke through the smoke and closed the distance.
Banryū ignited with roaring flames as she swung down.
BOOM!!
The barrier shook violently—
But still did not break.
"Abi…" Naraku's gaze lingered on her Rinnegan. "So you're still alive."
His voice turned cold, laced with faint amusement.
"Have you come to avenge Tekkei?"
He tilted his head slightly.
"I was planning to kill you after you finished gathering blood to cure her… but Kikyo interfered."
A pause.
"…No matter. Since you came yourself—"
"I'll send you to her."
Before his words faded—
Bone spikes erupted from his body, tearing through the air toward Abi's chest.
"Hmph."
Abi didn't retreat.
She advanced.
With a sharp motion—
Banryū flashed.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Every spike was severed instantly.
She stepped closer to the barrier again.
Naraku sneered.
"It's useless. You can't break it."
"…Is that so?"
Abi's lips curled slightly.
She suddenly released Banryū.
The massive sword dropped—
And in the same motion—
She slammed her palm against the barrier.
"Summoning Technique."
The seal spread—
Directly across the inner surface of the barrier.
Naraku's eyes widened.
"What—?!"
Inside the barrier—
Something burst forth.
Tekkei's massive head.
With a piercing shriek—
Its beak shot forward.
CRASH!!
It pierced straight through Naraku's chest—
And drove him completely out of the barrier.
"He's been dragged out?!"
Kagome gasped.
Even Inuyasha froze for a split second.
In that opening—
Abi moved again.
A summoning seal flashed beside her.
"Bang!"
Banryū reappeared in her hand.
She gripped it tightly—
Power surged.
"Banryū Flash!"
A massive arc of blazing energy roared forward.
It engulfed everything—
Naraku.
And Tekkei.
No hesitation.
"Wind Scar!!"
Inuyasha reacted instantly, his strike following hers.
Two devastating attacks collided—
And detonated.
BOOM!!!
Flames and shockwaves tore through the sky, ripping open the dense fog below.
For a moment—
Everything disappeared into the explosion.
"…Wait," Kagome whispered, stunned. "Isn't Tekkei her mother…?"
Her eyes stayed fixed on Abi.
Abi stood calmly in midair—
Completely unmoved.
"It's stranger than that," Miroku said quietly. "Tekkei was dead. We saw it ourselves."
Sango frowned, gripping her weapon tighter.
"…Then what exactly are we looking at?"
No one answered.
"Is Naraku… dead?" Shippo asked quietly.
They all stared into the smoke.
Waiting.
Slowly—
It cleared.
What appeared first—
Was Tekkei's mangled corpse, torn apart, with dark tendrils retracting from within it.
Then—
Naraku's barrier reformed.
His body was damaged—
But already regenerating at a visible speed.
"Hmph… Abi."
His voice was as cold as ever.
"You continue to surprise me."
His gaze flicked toward Tekkei's remains.
"I don't know how you brought her back…"
A faint sneer.
"But it doesn't matter."
"I can kill her again."
The tendrils withdrew completely.
Tekkei's broken body fell—
But before it hit the ground—
"Bang!"
It dissolved into smoke.
Gone.
Abi watched silently—
Her expression unchanged.
