I lay in my bed listening to the sound of wind and rain against my window as my brain felt as if had been microwaved.
I wanted to see Senne. I didn't know what made Karuhi leave so abruptly, but I knew something wasn't right with Senne now. She didn't want me to look at her either. It was as if I had a literal monster under my bed, and I needed to see it to feel reassured that it was just Senne that I knew — not a monster.
But she had gone completely silent.
Out side, it wasn't a full storm like the last time, but a very heavy rain with a lot of wailing wind.
I called out to Senne many times, although I was too afraid to actually climb down from my bed to see her with my own eyes.
She never answered me, though.
I also received a message from Abi saying that she couldn't make it today in this weather. I cringed a little when I read her message: "I will come by later if weather gets better, or tomorrow. Be a good girl."
