Chapter 240 - Chapter 240: Vibranium Winks at Blind Men

"Although the plan is clear, we can't make things too obvious, or the other side will inevitably become suspicious. But there's no need to make it too mysterious either, otherwise I'm afraid their intelligence won't be able to keep up, like winking at a blind man for nothing."

Hong Fei thought for a moment and added: "If a certain place has Vibranium weapons that leaked out of Wakanda, then Ulysses, as an arms dealer who has always been selling Vibranium abroad, certainly wouldn't let it go. If he makes a slightly bigger scene, then the Wakandans who have been hunting him down definitely won't ignore it and will receive the news very quickly."

Ulysses was stunned upon hearing this. Is this going to use me as bait? Big Head took over: "Then we had better capture the people sent by Wakanda first, until they send someone of sufficient importance."

"That makes sense, but Ulysses hasn't been caught for so many years, he must be very proficient at disguising and hiding, right?"

Hong Fei looked at Ulysses.

Ulysses's face twitched, and he said sheepishly: "I'm just extremely careful every time I act and trade."

"Hmm. What I mean is, to make Wakanda send people wave after wave, we have to let them constantly track Ulysses's whereabouts. But in the past, Ulysses has always hidden very well. Why would it suddenly become so smooth this time? How could the Wakandans not be suspicious?"

Big Head and Ulysses both nodded. That's true. A cunning arms dealer who has played cat and mouse with Wakanda for over a decade suddenly has his tracks found by Wakanda again and again—doesn't that clearly tell the other side that there's a trap?

"Actually, even so, it doesn't matter. Even if the Wakandans know there's a problem, they must act. After all, Ulysses has special significance to them. Sooner or later, they will send someone truly important."

The first outsider to steal Vibranium from Wakanda is, of course, special. To Wakanda, every one of Ulysses's activities is an insult to them. Over so many years, Wakanda has really been badly tarnished by him.

"But this way, it will inevitably take a long time, and I hate wasting time for no reason. So, give them a chance to prepare, let them believe that they will definitely be able to catch Ulysses this time. This way, they won't need to send people to scout the situation and can directly have their strong ones set an ambush to secure victory. And in Wakanda, powerful people are often those with very high status."

Big Head: "Then we first let Ulysses come out to make some noise, and then secretly spread the information within a small circle that he will be trading with someone at a certain place. This interval of time will give the Wakandans time to prepare?" Hong Fei smiled and said: "Smart."

"Then who should we find to trade with him?"

Hong Fei pointed at himself.

Big Head's eyes shifted, and he suddenly said: "Boss, are you planning to take this opportunity to intervene directly and propose a Vibranium trade with Wakanda?"

"That's right. Wakandans hate those who sell Vibranium, and they won't have a good look for those who buy it either. When the time comes, as long as I hold firm to my position as a buyer, guess if they will attack me?"

"Killing two birds with one stone! Boss, I'm impressed!"

Listening to the plan and thoughts revealed in the conversation between Hong Fei and Big Head, Ulysses was both shocked and terrified. They finished saying this right in front of me, can I still survive? Erik, lying on the bed, had his eyelids trembling constantly, likely harboring the same thoughts.

Big Head had a second thought and asked: "However, where are there any Vibranium weapons that have leaked out of Wakanda?"

Hong Fei turned his head to look at Ulysses and Erik: "Do you know?" Ulysses immediately shook his head rapidly, while Erik said nothing. Hong Fei smiled and said: "Wakanda is in Africa. You all know the history of Africa."

"If we're talking about where in this world is most likely to have Wakanda's vibranium weapons," Hong Fei mused, "it's got to be those traditional European powers."

"Makes sense!" came the eager reply.

"Should I send people to track them down immediately?"

Hong Fei shook his head.

"No need to search. I already know where some are stashed."

The next morning found Hong Fei seated cross-legged on the rooftop, eyes lightly closed. From the first blush of dawn until the sun blazed high in a cloudless sky, golden energy swirled around his body like living mist—sometimes drifting lazily, other times flaring like wildfire. Behind him, the White Dragon coiled its massive form, barely fitting atop the manor's main building. The dragon pressed its snout against Hong Fei's back, its slow, measured breaths drawing faint traces of Dragon Power from him. The total reservoir remained constant—whether depleted in battle or siphoned by the dragon, only the immediate supply diminished. Lost energy would gradually replenish over time or through Hong Fei's active cultivation, its recovery rate tied directly to his physical conditioning—a trait shared by the energy consumed when using Death's Eyes or skill cards. As the sun dipped toward distant mountain peaks, Hong Fei finally opened his eyes. Dragon Power Fusion Rate: 27.03% Progress crawled forward, but the daily visible improvement fueled his persistence. Still, time marched relentlessly onward. The full potential of complete Dragon Power remained unknown to him, and what he currently held was but a fragment. The remainder likely resided with Shou-Lao the Undying in K'un-Lun—though the exact distribution ratio eluded him. Since acquiring Dragon Power, Hong Fei had largely abandoned hunting targets for card farming. He rarely supplemented his combat with skill cards anymore. This power fused with his very soul—different from fusion cards that merely delivered energy. Now the integration process was his own choice, transcending the limitations of skill cards to make the power truly inseparable from his being. Only complete soul annihilation could strip it away. Dragon Power represented the first energy source Hong Fei had fully claimed as his own. The blood-forged Ten Rings shared this distinction. That didn't mean he'd forsaken other abilities or developed some psychological block against skill cards—he still enjoyed deploying his "Master of Pyramid Schemes" trio with gusto. If a tool proved useful, why discard it? Thus far, he'd detected no flaws in these abilities. But Dragon Power and the Ten Rings resonated with his soul on a deeper level, fostering greater intimacy. His current disinterest in card farming stemmed from having already harvested most familiar targets. The remainder could wait—early or late made little difference when the yield would likely prove mediocre anyway. Should urgent upgrades demand fodder cards, he'd simply go collect what he needed. And if powerful new heroes emerged? Well, even his nephew Peter Parker wouldn't be safe from Hong Fei's enthusiastic farming efforts. Rising to his feet, Hong Fei stretched lightly. The Dragon Power steaming from his pores reversed course instantly, pouring back through his skin like water through a sieve. Turning around, he stroked the White Dragon's head: "Are you hungry?"

The White Dragon shook its head, revealing a bit of reluctance in its eyes. It wasn't reluctant to part with Hong Fei the person, but with his Dragon Power.

"Don't be anxious. It's not that I'm unwilling to give it to you, but that you can't swallow too much right now. When things reach an extreme, they reverse; eating too much will hurt you."

This wasn't nonsense, but rather something said with purpose after Hong Fei had examined its body once. The White Dragon's body strength is indeed far superior to 99% of the creatures on Earth; after all, it is a mythical creature, even if it doesn't look quite like one. But this is not enough to allow it to accommodate too much Dragon Power at once. In other words, it has not yet cultivated to the bottleneck of the current stage, and more Dragon Power cannot help it break through completely; on the contrary, it would be hurt by too much Dragon Power. The plan Hong Fei set for it was to accompany him in cultivation every day. When Hong Fei's Soul escapes into the dimension of Dragon Power, it can also chew and swallow the Dragon Power slowly, refining it step by step. The cultivation of the man and the dragon both belong to the work of grinding water, and one cannot be impatient for success. However, Hong Fei still has a shortcut he can take, but he is still hesitating at the moment, and the current world is still relatively peaceful, which leaves him more time to consider and prepare. Active skill card: Odin's Seal (Purple 1/1) - Thor Odinson: "This is a seal, and also a form of cultivation. Once the sealed person completes facing their inner heart and power, it will automatically be released, and then their strength will advance by leaps and bounds. Note: Consumes huge energy, use with caution."

"If you're not hungry, that's about it. Go find something to eat yourself. It's near the sea here, which is convenient for you. Later, I'll continue to expand the big lake in Blackwater Town and incidentally raise more aquatic products for you. You are a dragon; you should know how to maintain the ecological balance."

The White Dragon blinked; its dragon head did not allow it to make too many expressions. Turning its head, the White Dragon rose into the air freely, a mass of hazy mist slowly appearing with its body, light waves flowing, and in the blink of an eye, the huge dragon body directly disappeared from sight. Hong Fei came to the main hall, and Big Head personally served the meal.

"You haven't eaten either, right? Sit down and join me."

Hong Fei greeted.

"Thank you, Boss. Then I won't be polite."

Big Head sat down, while Ulysses, who was following, stood obediently to the side. As an arms dealer who has braved countless hails of bullets and held hundreds of lives in his hands, Ulysses had become exceptionally well-behaved at this moment. Hong Fei suddenly turned his head: "By the way, you are also an arms dealer. Do you know Yuri Orlov?"

Hearing this name, Ulysses's round eyes widened: "Of course I know him. Yuri, Yuri... back when I was being hunted by the Wakandans, that bastard almost snatched away all my markets."

As he spoke, his eyes suddenly brightened: "Do you have a grudge against him?"

Hong Fei immediately pursed his lips: "We are friends."

Ulysses's smile instantly froze on his face. However, he looked hungry too, and in the time that followed, his eyes would always unconsciously glance toward the food, and then quickly turn to look out the window.

"You haven't eaten either?" Hong Fei suddenly asked again. Ulysses gave a sheepish smile and nodded. Hong Fei looked at Big Head, and Big Head immediately said: "Go to the kitchen yourself."

Ulysses practically bolted after thanking them, like a man granted a last-minute pardon. The moment the door closed behind him, Hong Fei's phone buzzed with Yelena's video call. He swiped to answer, and her grinning face filled the screen.

"Boss," she said, eyes gleaming, "got two things you'll absolutely love."

"Talk."

"First—somehow a S.H.I.E.L.D. missile launched itself earlier. Target? New Jersey. But here's the kicker—it blew up mid-flight. Even weirder? The original target, some abandoned military base called Camp Lehigh, exploded right after. We're all huddled up trying to figure it out."

She leaned closer, lowering her voice.

"Rogers is convinced there's a mole in S.H.I.E.L.D. Thinks the base was hiding something big."

Hong Fei burst out laughing. Yelena blinked.

"What's so funny?"

"You think this is strange?"

"Uh, yeah?"

"Fine," he said, grinning. "Whisper secret—that was me."

Her eyes went wide as saucers. However, before she could ask, Hong Fei said: "Alright, I'll give you the full story when you're back. Play nice with the team—you're a proper Avenger now, remember? Stop calling me every five minutes. People might get ideas."
