Ray's POV
Two days later, after enough thoughts, i decided to go to meet the boss, it was sudden and i wasn't allowed to see him.
Who was i? A nobody i guess. I had to cause a ruckus, so that the boss would notice me and agree to meet with me.
I started a fight. And that made the boss want to see me. I didn't waste any time, immediately i got there, i put my idea in action.
"I want to fight again!" I shouted.
Everyone in the office looked at me like some kind of maniac.
The boss suddenly let out a loud laugh.
"You want to fight, you couldn't even make me money the last time."
"I couldn't, but i can now. I didn't lose the last time, remember? It was a draw." I said boldly.
"But you didn't win either, did you? Why should i let you fight again. What do you want from this." The boss said.
"What could i possibly want? I want nothing. Bet on me and i will make you lots of money."
The boss stood up from his chair and walk towards me.
"Bullshit! You must definitely want something in return, because you would be risking your life to do this."
"I ask again! What is it that you want in return?"
I clenched my fists tightly and looked up to his face.
"I want to see my sisters."
"I want them to be free."
"That's all i want."
He smirked at me.
Kasa walked up to me with clenched fists and punched me.
"How dare you walk up to the boss and try to strike a deal with him when you are a nobody." He said.
He then proceeded to punch me again.
The boss held up his hands as a sign for Kasa to stop.
Kasa got angry and walked to the side of the office.
"Win 6 fights and i will think about your request." The boss said with a serious look.
"You will begin in three days. That's enough time for you to prepare."
I immediately went on my knees to show gratitude.
"Thank you boss, you won't regret this! I will win this time." I said with a huge smile.
I was taken out of the office. I told Drae about my plan, he wasn't delighted to hear it but at the end he was happy that he would be able to see the girls again.
I used the three days to heal the minor injuries from the fight i caused earlier and train a bit.
I knew i was already got stronger within these past few months. I knew i could win.
Three days passed and it was finally time for the first fight. I was scared that I wouldn't win but having that thought was not an option.
Drae was there to cheer me on. The boss was there to watch the fight too.
"You can do this! For the girls!" Drae said as he held my shoulders.
I climbed on to the ring, my opponent was bigger than me. It was almost as if i was always punished with huge opponents. Not fair.
Anyway, the size doesn't matter, it's the tactics i use that matters.
The referee blew the whistle and the fight began.
I punched him on his face, his torso too. He landed an uppercut on me which sent me flying before i hit the ground. I couldn't feel my jaw any longer.
He was huge so i ran round the ring to get him tired. It seemed like that was the best option at that point. It didn't work though. He was tougher than i thought.
First half was over before i knew it. Drae cleaned up my wounds and i took some water then i went back in for second half.
"Remember what Rocco said, be calm and think. Don't rush! I believe in you brother." Drae said.
I was determined, i punched the hell out of him. I didn't let him land a single punch on me. Till he got a punch in. It felt like one punch from him caused a lot of damage on me.
I was weak, lost stamina. But i still tried to punch him. There was a loud sound in my ear from the punch and i couldn't hear well, it felt like i was about to faint.
My teeth started bleeding too, i was reminded of the last fight.
"Is this how i really want to go down! I cant fail again. For the girls! For my family I can't give up!" I said to myself.
As the crowd cheered for the other opponent, i stood up and let a loud scream out. Then started punching everywhere in his body, i punched his face till he lost a tooth.
My body was weak, i was sure i broke some bones. But i couldn't give up.
My opponent suddenly fell to the floor and lost consciousness.
"And the winner is Ray!" The Referee said.
The crowd immediately changed who they cheered for and chanted my name.
"Ray! Ray! Ray!" They shouted.
My brother rushed and hugged me. I looked over at where our leader was sitted and he let out a smirk as he smoked.
"You did it! You did it!" Drae said in excitement.
I suddenly felt a sense of accomplishment. It was just the beginning but at least i didn't let it end here. I had a chance.
Then i fainted.
