Chapter 1 - Ain’t no way boy

Fuck, that's the only word that came to my mind. One moment I was going home from work, and the next thing I know I wake up in Trey's body, sitting in his strong room, or should I say mine

Anyway, as I was thinking these thoughts in my head, General Kregg walked into the room.

Kregg: "Grand Regent, I have contacted nolan as you orderd."

Thragg:"and ?"

Kregg:" After I made contact with Nowl-ahn

, he told me his offspring, while in it's maturation phase is finishing, did not awaken his powers yet."

Thragg:"Hm, these humans resembel us a lot do they not "

Kregg" Yes they ceartnely do Grand regent."

Kregg: "But just resemblance is not enough to conclude genetic compatibility between humans and us. While physically they resemble us, they are weak, fragile."

Thragg:"Inferior species then"

Thragg: "No matter. Kregg, inform the council I will be leaving for Earth alone."

Kregg: "But you cannot leave alone, Grand Regent. Let at least me or somebody else follow you there."

Thragg: "No, I shall leave alone. It's only for the scouting. I have high hopes that the species of humans may be able to help us rebuild ourselves."

Kregg:"If you say so Grand regent "

Thragg: "Do I sense some doubt in your tone, Kregg?"

Craig: "No, I'm just confused by which logic led you to conclude that humans are genetically compatible with us."

Thragg: "Do not question me again. You may be able to leave to inform the Council."

As he was leaving, I thought to myself, he is scared of me, but he also respects me. I understand you. I gave him no clue by which logic and information I came up with that humans are compatible with us, but he will learn soon enough that I am right.

Thragg: "One more thing, Kregg."

Craig: "Yes, Grand Regent?"

Thragg: "Inform Conquest to come back."

Craig: "Yes, Grand Regent. I shall inform him."

As he left,I opend a panel with my stats

[Thragg]

[Level]:1 {0/100xp}

[Age]:2000+

[Strenght]:27

[Speed]:25

[Constitution]:28

[Intelligence]:22

[Multiversal Travel]:Locked

[Assignable points]:0.0

After seeing my panel, I slowly got up and soon left my ship and started flying to Earth. Kregg said that it would take about two weeks, so for me, probably a week and a few days at most.

As I was flying in the general direction of Earth, I began to think ,should I kill Nowl-ahn and Mark immediately, or should I observe first? Maybe this isn't the original universe. Maybe here,Nowl-ahn completes his mission… or maybe Mark accepts the Viltrum Empire. I will have time to think about it as I travel through space.

I am a bit different than the comic Thragg, I think. My build is more slender though I still stand at 6'6", pure muschles.

I think the system is exponential every one-point increase is double. Anyway… one thing I forgot to do when Kregg walked into the room. If I focus on someone, I think I can see their stats. I'll try that when I get to Earth.

Before beginning my journey, I tested this new body of mine and got myself comfortable in the body. It wasn't like I only gained memories of combat it's as if my body already knows what it needs to do. My mind didn't need time to adjust. I feel like I already possess all the combat experience that Thragg had.

I will see if killing humans or aliens grants experience. It likely requires killing strong superhumans or powerful aliens. I do not believe eliminating weak, inferior creatures will yield much.

Anyway, those are the thoughts currently running through my head. I should probably focus on flying…

One and a half weeks later.

As I got closer to Earth, I couldn't help but remember the picture I had seen in my past life The Pale Blue Dot. It truly signified the fragility and smallness of humanity.

One more observation I made about myself is that, while I was human in my past life and gained the combat experience of this body, I did not acquire his personality. However, I do feel that my emotions are heavily dampened, and that Viltrumite brain seems to make me sound far more cynical.

Another observation every alien species in this Invincible universe speaks English. I do not know what to attribute that to, but it is… an interesting detail.

As a neard the stratosmphere of earth

Nowl-ahn came flying toward me and stopped in front of me. He bowed in the vacuum of space and spoke:

Omni-Man: "Grand Regent, by what honor have I deserved your presence?"

Thragg:"Woth nothing I have come to have a few questions answerd by you."

Nowl-ahn"Certanly Grand Regent."

Thragg: "Nowl-ahn, has your offspring awakened its powers?"

Nowl-ahn: "No, Grand Regent, not at this time. He has not—but I have high hopes. Even though he is almost seventeen, I believe he may simply be a late bloomer… though I am not certain."

Thragg: "Have you observed any deficiencies in him? Anything that would suggest they are not compatible with our DNA?"

Nowl-ahn:"No.Nothing of concern"

Thragg: "Did you incapacitate any resistance on this planet that could cause trouble for us?"

Nowl-ahn: "No, not yet. But considering the resistance that does exist, I very much doubt that a team of Viltrumites would fail to conquer Earth."

Nowl-ahn: "Not one, but a few, Nolan. Are you underestimating the Viltrumites, or overestimating Earth?"

Nowl-ahn: "Overestimating Earth Grand Regent , given our declining numbers. It would be better to ensure that nobody dies—but I myself could probably conquer this planet if necessary."

Thragg: "Because your offspring hasn't developed its powers yet, have you been raising it as a Viltrumite or as a human?"

Omni-Man: "As a human, I'm afraid, Grand Regent. My mate on this planet has made me softer, but I am loyal to the Viltrum."

Thragg: "Made you soft. Twenty years on this planet have accomplished that. Twenty years compared to your lifespan,is insignificant. How could that even happen?"

Nowl-ahn: "I'm afraid, Grand regent. Humans possess empathy and compassion. It is very hard to exist among them, and remain untouchable I'm afraid. They have this thing called love, and while I am not certain that I feel it, there is some resistance to my mission. But as I have stated before, I remain loyal to the Viltrum."

Thragg: "We will see about that, Nowl-ahn. When your offspring develops its powers, if it is unable to accept its Viltrumite heritage, you will make him learn the error of his ways, will you not?"

Nowl Ahn: "Yes, Grand Regent, I will show him the error of his ways."

As i focuse on Nowl-ahn his stats poped up

[Nowl-ahn]

[Age]:2000+

[Strenght]:23

[Speed]:24

[Constitution]:26

Strong. Not as strong as me,but still strong.

Thragg: "I have finished my assessment. In approximately sixty rotations of this planet , I will return with reinforcements, and we shall take over this planet. I have determined that, even though your offspring has not yet awakened its powers, his appearance is nearly identical like all humans. Therefore, the probability is high that he is simply a late bloomer, and that humans are highly compatible with our species. You will defeat the defenders of this planet and await further instructions. Am I clear?"

Nowl Ahn: "Yes, Grand Regent, you are clear."

After I distanced myself from Nowl Ahn, I contacted Kregg.

Thragg: "Kregg, I have made contact and confirmed my suspicions. We shall assemble all available Viltrumites and come to this planet. We will observe and wait for his offspring to awaken his powers and heritage. If he does not awaken them soon, we shall destroy this planet. In a mere twenty years, their influence has softened one of our greatest warriors. If they are not genetically compatible, I will not leave such risks alive."

Kregg: "I understand, Grand Regent. For the glory of the Empire."

One week and four days layer….

Kregg: "Welcome back, Grand Regent. Of the available forty-eight Viltrumites, including yourself, thirty-eight are on this ship. We are awaiting a few more—and Conquest, whom you specifically mentioned before your departure, has not yet returned. However, he has responded. He will be back in approximately two weeks."

Thragg: "Very well. And how long will our journey to Earth take once everyone is assembled?"

Kregg: "Approximately three weeks, give or take."

Thragg: "Begin preparations. Gather all necessary resources and supplies, while we wait for the remaining Viltrumites to assemble."

Craig: "Grand Regent, why do we not send Conquest to conquer this planet, along with Nowl Ahn and a few other Viltrumites?"

Thragg: "Craig, have you studied this planet?"

Kregg: "Yes, Grand Regent, I have studied it. What do you ask?"

Thragg: "And what do you think of its people,Kregg?"

Kregg: "Grand Regent, I do not think of them much. They are a small, feeble race, infinitely inferior to ours. Their intellect may be praised in a few outliers, but the others—not so much."

Thragg: "No, they are not impressive, but their ability to resist to the last man is. I have considered our approach for about two centuries, and do you know to what conclusion I have come, Kregg?"

Kregg: "No, Grand Regent. I could not possibly know to what conclusion you yourself have come. Would you enlighten me, please, Grand Regent?"

Thragg: "While there is no need to negotiate with inferior creatures, Kregg, in our current predicament—regarding the survival of our race—we must take a gentler approach, though to them it may seem like absolute dictatorship. Instead of wiping out all who resist, I will slowly integrate them into our Viltrumite Empire."

Thragg: "Courage to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence. Supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy's resistance and hope."

Kregg: "Grand Regent, if this does not succeed, I am afraid it may very well be the end of our race."

Thragg: "No, it will not be. We have already honored our fallen. What reamins is to rebuild ourselves. Our enemy thinks us weak. We will show them they will shatter befour our strenght, our devotion , our vengeance. We are Viltrumites, and we are without end."
