Just as the leader was about to cut down Archon's head
the assassins a second voice was heard through the valley.
"Archon retreat, I will take it from here"
Then the waterfall split open and Heaven Breaker entered the fray.
"Let's show them what happens when they mess with us" Lin Shen replied as Heaven Breaker stepped into the forest.
Unlike Archon Heaven Breaker's frame was less bulky and more elegant and smoother.
Archon was a one-point defender but heaven breaker is an attacker who can fight against more than one opponent.
Inside the Base Sun Rong watched the main Viewscreen displaying the battle outside in awe.
But then the base's alarms triggered this time more urgent.
"Warning Ascendant level cultivator detected code red"
Everyone felt it a strong presence was descending from the sky.
The assassins retreated immediately.
"This isn't over" the leader hissed as they retreated.
Archon moved back into the base's mech hangar As Heaven Breaker covered him.
And far in the distance an Ascendant was watching behind him a younger cultivator stood bowing to him respectfully.
"Ancestor Yan" the younger cultivator said "This is where the boy resides"
"I never thought he would choose such a dangerous place as a place to reside in" replied ancestor Yan and what are these strange Qi fluctuations coming from the mountain."
Just as the Ascendant was about to leave, Lin Shen activated Heaven Breaker's thrusters.
Heaven Breaker surged forward its metallic wings spreading catching the moonlight.
Its thrusters moving its body at speeds that should not be possible.
One moment the giant mech was on the ground the next it was levitating behind Ancestor Yan.
"Interesting" said Ancestor Yan his voice carrying a hint of intrigue and surprise.
"State your purpose" asked Heaven Breaker pointing his sword at Ancestor Yan.
"Calm down Heaven Breaker," said Lin Shen
Inside the base Sun Rong was experiencing what could only be called as an existential crisis.
But she immediately calmed herself down.
"Lin Shen be careful Ascendant stage cultivators are stronger than you think" she said her voice cracking.
Ancestor Yan immediately jumped back and attacked him with large multiple swords made of Qi and hurled them towards Heaven Breaker.
Heaven Breaker dodged mid-air some of the Qi blades hit him but it only left scratches and dents on his outer plating.
Back at the base Archon and Sun Rong watched from the main display as the battle unfolded.
Ancestor Yan unleashed a move that sent a dragon made purely of Qi it flew after Heaven Breaker like an actual dragon.
But Lin Shen flew upward trying to avoid it.
But the dragon just followed him.
Eventually it crashed into Heaven Breaker.
For a moment the battlefield was very still as dust kicked up.
But then Heaven Breaker emerged through the dust its body scarred.
And flew directly at the Ascendant bringing its large sword onto the Ascendant.
Its three eyes glowing brighter than they ever did.
Ancestor Yan managed to defend himself with a Qi barrier.
But the moment the sword and the barrier met the barrier cracked and the sword hit Ancestor Yan, cutting off his right arm and sending him crashing into the ground causing a crater to form where he landed.
"YOU HOW DARE YOU CUT OFF MY ARM" said ancestor Yan in a furious voice.
"HOW DARE I" replied Lin Shen "YOU TRESSPASSED INTO MY TERRITORY DESPITE KNOWING AND YOU ATTACKED ME FIRST."
"I WAS OBSERVING" countered ancestor Yan
"AND THEN WHAT RAT ME OUT TO THE INFORMATION SECT AND SEND ALL THE OTHER SECTS AFTER ME. SERIOUSLY SHOULD I TIGHTEN SECURITY AROUND HERE OR SHOULD I JUST MOVE."
Then Sun Rong's Voice came over the comms.
"Lin Shen, don't kill him. He is wearing the uniform of the Heavenly sword sect"
"Give me a good reason" Replied Lin Shen as he turned to glare at Sun Rong over the screen.
"The Heavenly sword sect are equal in power to the Mount Hua sword sect" she continued "While the elegant sword of mount Hua focuses on confusing the enemy by mixing feints with strikes and targeting vital spots. The heavenly Sword sect focuses on mastering the sword to the point you are the sword their techniques vary from disciple to disciple and are never fixed. One disciple can focus on mastering Qi blades and Qi strikes while others will focus on sword techniques that deliver brutal and straightforward strikes."
"They are unpredictable sect aren't they," said Lin Shen
