Chapter 21 - Lost in Love, Trapped in Lies

Sarah and Kevin reached the theater, where Aashiqui 2, an Indian movie, was playing. Sara loved Indian culture, Indian food, and especially Indian movies.

While watching the movie, Sarah and Kevin looked exactly like a perfect couple. Sarah held Kevin's left hand tightly in her right hand and rested her head lovingly on his shoulder. It seemed like the movie was just an excuse—they simply wanted to spend time together.

During the movie, Sarah fed Kevin popcorn, and Kevin fed Sarah too. At one point, Sara teased him. Kevin thought she was about to put popcorn into his mouth, but instead, she ate it herself. Kevin got adorably upset like a little child—he folded his arms and turned his face away.

Sarah knew how to calm him down. She gave him a sweet peck on the cheek, and instantly, all his anger melted away. Kevin then pulled her into his arms.

After some time, a romantic song from the movie started playing. Hearing it, romance awakened inside both of them. They looked at each other and got lost in their own world.

They imagined themselves in the movie scene—it was raining, and both of them were drenched. Sarah's hair was wet and messy, water droplets falling on her body. Kevin was also soaked in the rain. They slowly moved closer.

Sarah removed her dupatta and covered both of them with it. Under that cover, they hugged each other tightly. Kevin gently kissed the water droplets from Sarah's face. Slowly, their lips met, and they kissed each other under the dupatta.

Suddenly, someone came and said, "Excuse me, the movie is over."

But both of them were still smiling, completely lost in each other's eyes. Someone tried again, "Hello sir, ma'am," even waving a hand in front of them, but they remained like statues, lost in each other.

Finally, after another attempt, they came back to their senses. When they looked around, the movie had ended, the hall was empty, and only two workers were standing there.

Realizing they had been lost in their dreams, they smiled at each other.

Kevin leaned toward one of the workers and said softly, "It's a matter of the heart… sometimes this happens."

The workers smiled warmly and said, "We want to say something—you both truly look beautiful together. It feels like you are made for each other. May God always keep your bond like this."

Hearing this, Sarah and Kevin thanked them sincerely and walked out of the theater.

On the other side, Ryan called Zara to meet him at the same place where he had once brought Sara.

When Zara arrived, she saw Ryan sitting alone in a corner, looking heartbroken and upset. His expensive car was badly damaged.

She rushed to him, held his face, and asked, "Ryan, what happened? Who did this?"

Ryan stayed silent for a moment, then said, "My ex is a greedy and characterless woman. She ruined my life."

He looked into Zara's eyes and showed her Sara's photo.

"This is that girl."

Zara was shocked. Her eyes widened, and she was speechless.

Ryan continued, "Do you know why she lost her memory? It was her own fault. One day, I caught her red-handed with another man. I couldn't believe she could do something like that. I decided to end everything with her."

He paused, then added, "But she's very cunning. To blackmail me, she deliberately caused her own accident. Then she met your brother, and now she is cheating him too."

Zara got angry and said, "That 'simple'-type girl had the audacity? She looks so innocent, but behind that, she's completely characterless!"

Seeing Zara's reaction, Ryan smiled inwardly. His plan was working.

He continued, "You asked who did this to my car—it's because of her. She came to me today, forced herself into my car, and told me to bring her here. I trusted her because I loved her."

He gently held Zara's face and looked into her eyes.

"But then she said we should get back together… secretly."

"I refused. Then she threatened me—she said she would accuse me falsely and tell the world that I cheated her. She even hit me."

Ryan showed marks on his face.

"Look, her fingerprints are still here."

He continued angrily, "Then she got out of the car and destroyed it like this."

Zara wiped his tears and hugged him.

"I never liked that girl anyway. Just look at her dressing—such a typical 'Simpe look girl.' And now she has trapped my brother too. I won't let her stay happy even for a moment. I will take revenge for every single tear. I promise you."

Ryan moved closer to Zara, held her face softly, and said,

"We need to teach her a lesson. Just do exactly as I say."

Zara nodded and said firmly,

"Yes, I will definitely show that 'simple look girl ' her place."

After Zara left, Ryan started laughing loudly. He wiped his fake tears and said,

"Dr. Kevin, I admit you are smart and sharp-minded… but your sister is a complete fool. I just told one story, and she believed everything without thinking."

He smirked and added,

"But no matter what, your sister is very useful to me. With her help, I will take my revenge on both of you. I will ruin your lives—especially Sarah's. She will forget what happiness even means."
