It crossed Red Salt drainage, an abandoned tram loop, two sealed utility sectors, and the dead observatory district.
The line ended under a blank square.
"What is that?" Rina asked.
Soma opened three map layers.
The blank stayed blank.
"City archive says foundation rock. Transit archive says restricted utility. Defense Force archive returns an empty coordinate."
Cassius coughed into his sleeve.
"That means someone spent money on the blank."
Elara lifted her bandaged hand.
One tap east.
Two taps down.
Then she dragged her nail in a small circle on the table.
Caleb looked at the dead observatory district.
