Life Crystal was cornered by everyone; Celestia, the Crystal of Betrayal, and Kaol surrounded him.
His eyes stared widely at the three in front of him. They were all severely injured, floating with tough gazes.
Kaol was panting. "Damn him... even though the three of us fought him, he still managed to severely injure us!"
The Crystal of Betrayal was not conscious—he was completely blank, with his thoughts revolting for freedom...
Kaol grinned. "Now it's time to kill him! Once and for all, hahaha! It's my first biggest kill! Hehe."
The Crystal of Betrayal moved away. Since he felt his freedom was now guaranteed, he didn't care about Life Crystal anymore.
Celestia frowned. "Kaol! You dare try that... only after he revives the King can you kill him!"
Kaol frowned. "What? You want me to wait until that? Listen, this bastard isn't doing that even in your dreams, so I say—"
Celestia hit him with her attack. "By the way, I will end his life, not you! I want to take revenge for the King!"
Kaol smirked. "Cocky crystal! You are also one of their race, remember? Hehe, don't worry! I can help you with the King."
Celestia's eyes widened. "Really... you mean that you could do something about him... can I really meet him?"
Kaol grinned. "Yeah, it's so easy that I can pull it off with a single snap! But I need you to come closer, along with his blood remains."
Celestia nodded as she forgot everything else and collected the King's remaining blood!
His blood spilled over the floor had already dried. She bit her lips and used her powers.
A pink halo shone over the ground. It separated the King's blood and made it fly toward her.
She condensed it into an orb, carrying it to Kaol.
She gave it to him. "Kaol... thanks, bro! Hehe, you know what? I will be your friend too! Let's have lots of fun later...
What do you say?"
He simply nodded. "Alright then, shall I do it? Stay still, don't move!"
She giggled as she gently rubbed the orb and smelled it. The King's scent hit her nose.
She was smiling. "King... don't worry, I was there for you... and will be there for you forever! Even if I die!"
Kaol was suddenly stunned; a past memory haunted him.
His vision turned blurry as he recalled a scene.
He was simply gazing at the sky, lying by the ocean, muttering, "The Sun and the Ocean, what a lovely couple! I wonder when this Sun will meet his Ocean..."
Then he saw her face lean over his... she grinned, but spoke nothing.
Later... his love deepened right from that moment.
But in the end, it turned out to be a plan made by the organization just to refine a crystal...
His whole life turned meaningless... he suffered insanely! Then Life Crystal also tortured him to death a countless number of times.
He cursed, "Why me! Why do I have to go through all of this?"
Then he returned to the present, his eyes shining with a trace of envy!
His hands pierced through her! She had no time to react, instantly coughing up blood.
Her eyes stared widely. "How could you do this... to me! Kaol, looks like you want to taste death! Hahaha, fine, let me do it your way!"
Kaol knew that with his current powers, he couldn't rival Celestia (Lust).
He smirked. "Look! If you move, the orb shatters! The King is gone forever... not even Life Crystal could revive him! Hehe, moreover, I am satisfying your request.
If I kill you, won't you go meet the King? Hahaha."
Her anger was suppressed by fear. She, however, refused to believe his words...
She grinned. "Kiddo! You went too far. Now, just die!"
She grabbed Kaol by his neck and started absorbing his life energy and cosmic energy!
He felt his life energy dwindling down, despite being immortal...
He frowned. "Don't you want the King back?"
She laughed. "Petty tricks like that won't work!"
But the orb shattered just as Kaol had stated, and the blood disappeared completely, leaving no trace of its presence.
She fell down in shock. Kaol was freed, and he retreated back several steps...
"Damn, I thought I was dead for sure! Phew, narrow escape."
She was heartbroken. The person she had loved for so long, and tried everything for him to be back, would now never come back!
Life Crystal tried to sneak away, but Kaol caught him.
"Hehe, where do you think you are going, buddy? Let me show you your favorite entertainment: killing and torturing others in all possible ways!"
Life Crystal was ready to accept his fate.
He gently smiled. "So this is how my life ends...
I regret a lot of things! Death was there to protect and care for me all the time; I ignored him and just did things my way.
Hehe, I never got to thank him and feel the same way! My brother, I guess it's my time now. You are also dead; now I'm coming to meet you too."
Due to Death Crystal's disappearance, everybody here assumed he had somehow died.
Only fate knew that he was actually trapped.
Just as Kaol was about to end Life—
A sharp black object moving at rapid speed tore through his body.
His life energy was completely extinguished by a new energy: death energy.
Death Crystal let down Life Crystal. "Bro! What happened to you... who did this to you?"
Kaol gasped. "This guy... he almost killed me! Damn."
Life Crystal shone brighter; his pale light now turned into a blinding flash!
Death Crystal patted him. "Stay here, bro!
I ASKED WHO DID THIS TO HIM! IF YOU DON'T COME OUT, I WILL KILL YOU ALL IN THE MOST BRUTAL WAY POSSIBLE!
NO... EITHER WAY, I AM KILLING YOU ALL!"
The space station aliens, the black figure, Freol, and Zacian were dumbstruck.
Erline asked, "What did we do? We weren't even involved!"
Death Crystal gave a sinister smile. "You had seen Life getting almost killed and stood still without protecting him.
So die!"
All of them were stunned and confused.
Celestia was already speechless, so she was frozen like a statue.
The Crystal of Betrayal moved ahead, joining Kaol.
He gritted his teeth. "Two of us? Just us against that monster? Moreover, we are hurt and he is completely intact.
It's the most unfair fight I have ever been in!"
Others joined beside him.
Freol smirked. "Did you forget again? With your powers, you have unlimited cosmic energy and life energy!"
Kaol shook his head. "But due to the mysterious power from Death Crystal, my life energy was shaved off of me...
I now only have a normal amount!"
Everybody's expressions changed. Freol frowned. "Impossible! That fast?"
The black figure was also not looking good. "Damn it... he must have used death energy to cancel out his life energy! Dang it."
Zacian swallowed hard. "Death... I am just a streamer! Let me go, and I will give you my autograph!"
Others frowned at him for being so stupid in a situation like this.
Death Crystal was the first to react. He screamed, "You think I care about your stupid stream? Forget it, I'm killing you first!"
Death Crystal shot out a chain filled with death energy. Upon contact with it, all of one's lifespan would be drained, and they would die.
It was made of black and silver luster, with a red brilliance! It was like black lightning, roaring over the ground.
It hit him, but he smirked. "Good!"
Freol was confused. "What do you mean, 'good'?"
The black figure realized what was happening as he retreated quickly.
"IDIOTS, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! HE HAS CONNECTIONS WITH UNIVERSAL BEINGS!"
Hearing those words, everybody was unable to move for a second.
All their gazes were now filled with fear and anxiety.
Death Crystal was stunned. "The universal beings... like the one I had earlier learned about..."
He doubted himself for a split second. Taking a look at Life Crystal, he saw he was already fully beaten up, guaranteeing certain death!
If a universal being was involved, Life Crystal gently smiled. "Flee, buddy! Goodbye."
Death Crystal placed down Life Crystal, but he instead ran ahead, not behind.
