The figure slowly turned visible; it had two hands holding onto something.
Lucan's gaze shifted past the hands to see nothing. He was confused, "A sneak attack? Hmm!"
He retreated back several steps as he pulled back Fate guy; the silver butterfly also shielded Lucan.
The figure stood still with no reaction. Fate guy said, "Maybe not a sneak attack? Why don't we check it out!"
A loud roar echoed throughout the spaceship.
It was fierce and dense; a familiar face could be seen by Lucan.
He grinned, "Long time no see, friend! How have you been? Hehe."
"There is no need for that... fool! Hmph, me? Sneak attacking? Not even in your dreams! And Lucan..."
The figure was none other than Lord himself.
The silver butterfly immediately blocked him. As Lord was annoyed, he said, "Pathetic pest! You dare to block the path I walk! I am already in a very bad mood.
But now, you..."
He crushed the silver butterfly; Fate guy's pupils shrank to needle size as he started breathing heavily.
Lucan's gaze was calm and tranquil, "Uh oh! Dude, you chose the worst possible scenario. Should have calculated well enough."
Lord laughed loudly as he stared at his hand, "This pest... you mean it could endanger me! Thanks, Lucan, my mood has become better."
But suddenly, the silver butterfly reappeared before Lucan, ignoring Lord.
It checked on Lucan to find out he was unharmed, and then it let out a sigh of relief.
Lord's bottom line was touched as his ego and pride burst out. He rushed forward and smashed the silver butterfly.
But it was unharmed; it turned back into Lucan's armor and left.
Lord laughed, "So it was your armor? No wonder it was a bit good, not bad!"
Lucan continued to act, "Yes, yes, hehe!" He knew if Lord knew the truth that someone more powerful than him exists, he would definitely kill him! Or erase him! Lucan thought logically; although the armor could match Lord's strength, he was not willing to risk his life anymore because of two reasons.
One was his calculations: they said he should stay low-profile as long as he could due to the slumber of the golden butterfly.
Another was fear... fear of the most inevitable punishment! Infinite tickling from the golden butterfly.
He sighed internally, *Hehe, the golden butterfly even made someone like me, who thinks rationally, afraid...*
Fate guy shouted, "But Lucan? Wasn't it the golden butterfly? The most powerful entity in the world!"
Lucan turned back as he smiled bitterly, "Lord! Well, ignore that fool, he—"
Lord shook his head, "No! I don't care, because that guy—isn't he the trash from my planet? I have no need to listen to his words!
But... there is something that I want to know about."
Lucan's eyes widened as he was stunned, "Lord? When did you become so generous?"
Lord punched Lucan in the face, "Imbecile fool! Who told you that? I am Lord! Shut up and do what I say!"
Lucan grinned as he stood up with blood dripping all over his body.
Fate guy transmitted, *Lucan... I am sorry, I was also suspicious of his identity! Hence I did that to verify it, and you got hurt on your own, right?*
Lucan smirked as he transmitted back, *I know it, Fate guy! You have already changed after that one crash, hehe. And I did that to avoid the interest of both the golden butterfly armor and Lord!
Nice job! Hehe, one day you might even surpass me!*
Fate guy chuckled as Lucan walked out from the ruins, showing a pale face, "Forgive me, Lord! I doubted the wrong person."
Lord laughed, "Good thing that you at least came to your senses. Now the thing is..."
He narrated the entire tale of Pride crystal's demise.
Lucan grinned, "So it was as I had thought! Very well then."
Lord immediately asked, "What? You know something about this? Impossible! Even I, Lord, didn't know about it."
Lucan replied, "It is because I am a human; the feeling you felt was probably grief! Grief of missing your loved ones."
Lord roared, "You mean those shitty feelings can conquer me? You—"
Lucan sighed as he waved his hands.
Cosmic energy clustered out of his body as it swam around Lord, who had no time to react.
The blue-colored light shone brighter as a symbol of a clock appeared.
Its hands stopped moving as time froze for Lord alone.
Fate guy had joy lit over his face, "Your old trick! Ah! I get nostalgic seeing this now."
Lucan grinned, "Later for that. My calculations say we must throw him off as fast as we can and go into hiding."
Fate guy realized the seriousness of the issue, "So his power is too great? Your time-stopping move also can't hold him much longer."
Lucan laughed, "Good, now let's begin."
But suddenly, multiple figures appeared around both Lucan and Fate guy.
King walked out as the Sage flew beside him.
A beautiful figure hopped before Lucan.
She had pearl-like eyes which shone in a bright pink color like the cosmos; each of her ears had an earring.
One was in the shape of the sun and the other was in the shape of the moon.
Her long hair fluttered as she said, "Lucan! Damn it!"
He felt something amiss as he saw the space station aliens surrounding him in all directions, blocking his escape route.
A glowing figure flew forward as he held a long pole. He was small and was an old man, but he had no wrinkles or signs of being old.
His face was bright and enlightened as he said, "Today is your last day, evil beings!"
He was filled with deep wisdom; his eyes shone as they showed a trace of deep knowledge.
King sighed, "Come on, don't try to resist. You may have made mistakes, but I will give you all a fair chance to change yourselves—"
The Sage's hands moved as he cast a spell on King.
King felt himself turning unconscious. He took a quick gaze at Lucan and Celestia, who was in front of him.
"Why do... you look like him? And she looks like her?" as he fainted.
Fate guy was immediately captured along with the frozen Lord.
The Sage smirked, "Hehe! Thanks for helping us take down Lord! Without your help, we couldn't have made it any easier.
Now! Surrender or choose death!"
Celestia suddenly shielded Lucan, "You have to cross me to lay a finger on him!"
Lucan grinned as he thought, *Hehe, a great opportunity to go into hiding! Now all I have to do is just play along here until I can stop time again! Only a few more minutes...*
He said, "Celestia? Who are you? And why are you helping me?"
She smirked as she pinched Lucan's cheeks, "Good boy! Let me take care of these punks! Wait here."
Lucan suddenly blushed as his face turned red, *What the heck! What is this feeling?*
Celestia started attacking the aliens; one by one they rushed forward to... get beaten up by her.
The Sage sighed, "You are still weak. Can't even take down a single girl? Move away, let me finish her off."
The space station aliens felt dejected as they made way for the All-Seeing Sage.
He closed his eyes and chanted something as a bright yellow flash appeared over his body.
Everyone shut their eyes tight; nobody could see in that flash.
A huge, sun-like image covered the entire spaceship in its range, as countless star-like figures split away from it.
The entire place turned dead calm; it went silent.
When the flash was over, all of them collapsed to the ground one by one; even Celestia was no exception.
The only difference was that she lasted a bit longer and fell down as the last person.
The Sage immediately tapped his pole as all of these people were teleported away.
This move was incredibly powerful, but everything has a price to pay. After using this move, the sun-like image would be out of his control.
Meaning, it wouldn't disappear instantly, and... even he couldn't open his eyes.
The Sage smiled, "Even though it has such side effects, it doesn't matter much, as no one can survive this move—"
But...
