Chapter 53 - || CHAPTER 53:None Of You Are Righteous! ||

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The door flew open, and the poisonous gas spread throughout the room. Everybody tried to defend themselves.

But it was too late. The gas had already reached so close to them that many started to pray to survive this crisis.

The gas was just a few inches away from the Supreme Head's face. He held his breath and retreated, but he had reached the dead end.

His pupils shrank to pinholes; despair arose in everybody's hearts.

But suddenly, all the smoke vanished as if it had never been there, and majestic footsteps could be heard.

A figure held his hand out at the entrance as he said, "Well, none of you know how to differentiate between friends and foes!"

Everybody's gaze shifted toward the entrance. The figure waved his hand. "Yo! Long time no see."

Nobody recognized him; even the Supreme Head was standing in a daze.

He sighed, "Huh! I hoped to get some celebration upon my arrival. This is too boring!"

But one person stood up, his eyes widening and his tears gone. He spoke, "You... Are you... him? Destiny's Heavenly King?!"

Destiny's Heavenly King? Everybody was speechless.

He walked in. He was tall and handsome, the corner of his lips curled up on one side. His skin was peach-colored, and he had blonde hair.

His eyes were calm and tranquil. He resembled a human.

One alien asked, "Human! What connection do you and Lucan have? Devil, speak!"

The All-Seeing Sage's rage exploded—he wanted to deliver tight slaps—but the next moment, Destiny's Heavenly King appeared right in front of that alien.

He smiled warmly at him. "Human? Lucan? Haha! You have misunderstood me. I am one among the twelve with special authority, just like this Sage guy!"

Sweat appeared on the alien's forehead. He fell to the ground, grabbed the King's leg, and begged for forgiveness, but a hand pulled him back up.

It was the King. He observed him closely as he said, "I won't forgive you, and you shouldn't fall at my feet!"

The alien asked in a hesitant tone, "Why won't you forgive me?"

The King replied, "Huh! Are you really from our space station? You are asking for forgiveness out of fear. You have to realize your true mistakes first.

And you have to feel the guilt and understand that you should never make that mistake ever again. Only then can you ask for forgiveness!"

His voice matched his name—it was heavenly. His elegant appearance made him the center of attention.

The alien bowed down. "I am sorry, King! From now on, I won't judge anyone too quickly!"

The King inspected him by his body movements and was pleased, as the alien truly asked for forgiveness from the bottom of his heart.

He smiled at him. "You are forgiven, haha! Be careful from now on."

He saw the Sage and the others in a pathetic condition. He placed his hand over the Sage's shoulder.

Many of their jaws dropped during this scene.

He asked, "Hmm! Is something wrong? Tell me everything that happened while I was away."

The Sage used his technique to condense all the events into a small, round sphere, which he placed on the King's forehead.

In merely a few minutes, the King gained every single piece of information.

He ran up to the table and climbed onto it. He spoke, "Everybody, look at me."

Even the Supreme Head stood quietly.

He laughed, "Great Lord? Lucan? Just those two? It is true that those two are strong.

But it is also true that you are all too weak. Those two kept working hard and strengthening themselves.

But you guys just stay here, perform minor tasks, create arrest warrants, and criticize them."

One alien sneered, "So, you are saying it is our mistake?"

"Precisely! I will be very honest: you have to strengthen yourselves if you want the righteous path to triumph!"

Everybody's morale surged. One alien asked, "What about your strength?"

He smiled gently as he said, "Good thing you asked! Every time a person gives advice to others, they must practice what they preach.

And I, Destiny's Heavenly King, follow my own words. You can check for yourselves! As for my strength, hehe! My strength? You will see when the time comes."

"You must kill them! Because we can't let them get any stronger!"

"Yes! The devils must die, and it should be a cruel death."

A voice spoke, "None of you have the worth to be titled as righteous. I am leaving this space station."

He quickly left before anyone could say a word.

The All-Seeing Sage shouted, "Even I am leaving! This so-called righteous path has no difference from the demonic path."

He left as well.

The Supreme Head announced, "Everybody, let's leave! We can't let those two get away!"

Everyone agreed and followed him.

However, when they stepped outside, both the King and the Sage were gone.

The King and the Sage were watching from the shadows where they lurked.

In the Eternal Abyss of Life and Death, Lucan was looking at his watch—he had brought this along with him from Earth.

He counted, "3... 2... 1! Hehe! I am finally 17 years old! I have to send the golden butterfly to Dad."

He flew toward the spaceship. He saw the Fate guy still inside the cocoon and thought, "Earlier, when the Love Crystal was destroyed, an external force definitely intervened.

I am 100% sure. My guess was the Fate guy, but looking at his condition, it makes sense that it wasn't him.

So who or what is that external force? Is it a friend or a foe?"

With these thoughts, he landed near the spaceship and opened its entrance, though he was not ready to take the risk of entering inside.

After all, he wouldn't be able to return to this place anymore if he did.

He called out, "Golden butterfly! Are you there? Please come out."

No response came. Lucan had predicted this: it was too far inside the spaceship, so how could it hear his voice?

Even if he amplified his voice using cosmic energy, it wouldn't reach that far.

He sighed, but suddenly he heard a familiar sound—the flapping of wings.

He turned around and saw the golden butterfly. It landed on his face and nuzzled him.

Lucan laughed, "Hey! Stop it. Okay, okay, I won't leave you alone anymore!"

Only after he said that did the butterfly pull back. He grinned and said, "Today is my 17th birthday. Can you please go meet my dad and bring me his message?"

He suddenly entered the white room. In front of him were the same pen and paper.

There were a few lines written on it:

*'Happy Birthday, Lucan! Hmph! You should have told me sooner; I would have prepared a gift for you.*

*I will go and meet your dad! But when I return, you must make a promise to me!'*

Lucan was surprised as he picked up the pen. The letters faded away one by one.

He wrote his reply and left it on the table.

He was instantly teleported back out. The golden butterfly flew around him a few times, its golden glow blindingly bright.

Lucan was confused, but suddenly it left a soft kiss on his cheek and flew away rapidly.

Lucan was stunned. He hadn't expected this action from the golden butterfly. His face turned bright red, and he let out a shy scream.

However, he quickly regained his composure. "Damn it! I got embarrassed again and let my emotions take over.

Hmph! I have to be careful in the future, but that butterfly is even more unpredictable than I am!"

Yet, he didn't feel annoyed or harbor any hatred toward the feeling. Instead, he felt a strange, warm sensation as his heart pounded faster.

He took a long, deep breath and calmed himself down.

1,000 kilometers from the Eternal Abyss of Life and Death...

A spaceship suddenly appeared out of nowhere—it was Org 1000's spaceship.

He sighed, "I finally got close to Lucan! But I can't communicate with him; I can only use cosmic energy to defend or take control of others."

As he waited for the Universal Being to tell him his next move, he got an idea that he felt would definitely work.

He laughed crazily as he said, "Fate guy! Time for you to shine."
