Theon stood in his study, his fingers wrapped around his phone as he dialed the number for Gareth, the private investigator he knew and whom he and the others had finally decided to hire for this delicate matter between thw two families. When the line picked up, Theon cleared his throat and spoke directly to the point, enough time was already wasted.
"Gareth. I need to hire you for an extremely serious case involving my family and the Rhodes family, I believe you know of them. It is something we need to handle with the utmost discretion."
On the other end of the line, Gareth listened silently for a moment before responding in his calm and professional voice, "I understand, sir. Come to my office later today, and we will talk through everything." Gareth gave him a specific time, and Theon agreed, hanging up the phone to prepare the others for the meeting. He made a few calls before anything else.
