Aziel walked back towards the house late into the night, stepping through the darkness in silence. He was completely naked, his skin covered in dirt, mud, and twigs from running through the dense forest for hours as a wolf. The night air washed over his bare skin, a little cooling, yet doing nothing at all. The house was completely dark and empty when he entered through the back doors. He walked silently through the hallway, making his way straight upstairs to his bathroom. He turned the shower on, stepping under the spray of cold water. He scrubbed his skin raw before he stood there for a long time, watching the dirt and dried mud wash off his skin and swirl down the drain, taking the harsh sting of his emotional outburst away with it.
