Damien had thought his day was dull and slow moving. He'd just gotten back from lunch when he heard the debacle between the lobby secretary and a woman he'd never seen before. He immediately knew she was a wolf from her scent alone. But he hadn't expected her to pull him aside, make him swear not to tell anyone about what she was intending to tell him, then completely shock him by revealing she was Aziel's mate. The very woman Aziel was losing his head trying to find was right in front of him.
He almost didn't believe her because the Aldrith family was as loaded as Rhodes, if not more, so why was she dressed…he shook his head. It didn't matter. It was best to take her to Aziel and have him confirm whether she was his mate or not rather than sending her on her way when he knew Aziel was searching deeply for her.
