Another call from Sienna came in two hours ago which almost felt like an eternity to him. His phone buzzed against the desk, and he picked it up immediately when he saw the name on the caller ID.
"Tell me everything is okay."
"It seems so, Alpha. I'm following her again right now," she said. "She just left the building."
Theon's eyes closed. He leaned back, pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed heavily. This whole thing was giving him anxiety and he never had anxiety. He did not like feeling like things were out of his control.
Sienna replied. "She walked out about a minute ago. Got into her car and drove off."
His grip on the phone tightened just a little. "Where is she heading?"
"I'm keeping my distance," she said. "But it seems she's heading back to her apartment. I'll update you if anything changes."
Theon nodded even though she couldn't see him. "Good. Thank you, Sienna. Please, make sure she's okay at all times."
"You're welcome, Theon, and I will."
